This is a video on how to replace upgrade a H7 55W full/high beam halogen bulb with a H7 55W full/high beam xenon effect bulb on a 2002 BMW 5 series e39.

I have a 2004 330i BMW with stock HID bulbs. The HIDs seem very dim to me, so I've been researching an led replacement. I found out the HIDs (D2s I believe) work as low beams and high beams. I tried to look today and notice what I thought was the main light go to low beam and high beam however the lights toward the center didn't work at all. I had no idea the car had duel high beams until I saw your video, totaling 4 lights. Last time I change a turn signal bulb a light came on in the dash. I wonder why this doesn't do it for the high beams as well. Thanks for the video!

Hello! General question: What do the headlights look like wenn the car and the lights are turned off? Are the blue bulbs noticeably shimmering through the headlight`s glazing? I am asking because I personally don`t like this effect. Thanks!

Hi, During the daylight with the lights switched off you may see a slight blue hue from certain angles.

Hi Abner. No you will not get any errors as the replacement is also halogen but with a xenon effect. Hope this explanation helps :)

Make the headlights clear again and then you have the light where it's supposed to go... With those cloudy headlights you don't see anything.

Its really not great to call these "Xenon" and calling them "Xenon Effect" is just playing into the marketing scam. These are clearly not HID and have NO XENON gas in them at all, they are fundamentally different. If they were honest in their marketing approach, they would be called "Ultra Blue" or "Crystal Clear" as the only "Effect" they have is a change in the color/temperature which gives them the bluer or clearer look than the stock bulbs which are on the amber side of the scale. These a just standard halogen H7's...

We make no claim that these are xenon. We clearly state in the description that these are H7. We do not make any claim that they work any better or worse than other types or brands. Visually they would be closer to giving a xenon effect color/temp than old style. There is no marketing scam on our part as we are not selling. We are showing ways to give your car an updated look with very little effort and outlay.
