I have had to replace my garbage disposal three times in the last 22 years. The first one, 21 years ago, just fell out of the sink from so much rust. And, I also did not know about that damn plug. I'll never forget it again.
I have been a plumbing contractor for the last 56 years. With all of the mistakes you have made I would never hire you to do another job for me. You took too many short cuts on this simple job. For example, no strain relief on the electrical cord coming out of the disposer, not installing the new flange, and lastly not putting the gasket in the correct place on the waste discharge pipe! You are fired!!! And I would never give you a recommendation for getting hired at another company! Take your time, bro, and stop thinking about how much money you can make in a day by taking short cuts. Recalls will come back and bite you in the ass!
