Like Share and Subscibe. This is not a hard Job. It does require patience. A Lot of it. Do not attempt this if you have no mechanical inclination or else you will get frustrated. DO NOT USE A IMPACT WRENCH. Use a large breaker bar with a 15mm deep socket. An extention may be needed. You will pry bars, crow bars, and lubrication. Good luck.

I was doing this job today on my 2008 F250, and your tip with using the socket to remove the lower metal retainer was genius. I had a piece of .125 thousands aluminum that I used between the socket and the body of the truck. This saved me hours of hammering and cutting. I want to thank you so much for this information.

I did this on my 2008 Ford f350 dually and thanks for the video gave me some ideas how to tackle this but on the front bushings I took of the head lights and I had a good access point on the top nuts to put a wrench in.

I am having to do this job in the next of weeks, I'm thinking about separating the two pieces I might get a longer bolt, screw it in and tap it to separate the two, I had a look at the two bolts behind the rear seat and mine are torx screws. I've seen several of these videos and no one has those. I have feeling this job is going to cause me to use some colorful vocabulary. Thanks for the video if not I wouldn't have thought to use a torch.

I did my 2010 f250 today and it took all day i did not have to go inside the cab under the back seat at all the only trouble i had was the 2 in the very front of the truck i had to take the head lights out and weld the nuts back so they wouldn't turn somebody must have used an impact on the front two at some point in time. hope i never have to do that job again.

taking your bumper off may have helped, did you try that?

also, the front ones HAVE To be heated or else they will spin regardless. I didn't use a gun on mine and they spun. Once I heated them they came out easy.

@@allritythen I just welded my nuts on so they would not spin ever again.

Thanks but a waste of time for me, I stopped it halfway through. I didn’t need a slide show of pictures with a narrator. Looking for a video of the process. Thanks

On the front body mounts what did you heat up the actual bolt or nut to keep it from spinning
@allritythen
@allritythen 4 года назад
You have to heat up the bolt Itself from the bottom of the truck

So how is the drive now? Lots of mixed reviews complaining on new noises and rough ride. Also I have a 2010 King Ranch, would those work ok? And I don't haul so do I need Kevlar ones?
@allritythen
@allritythen 4 года назад
The ride is much better. The Kevlar ones are not super expensive and they will last longer.
