Does your powered subwoofer have an annoying buzz when it is powered on? Well here is a fix that usually works. If you do this and it doesn't work, I am not liable for damage done to your equiptment.

Thank for this video. I have never used a solder before and I have a Polk PW505 that I believe may have bad caps inside. I'll give this a try! Thanks again.

I blew my caps in my kicker and trying out the alpine caps which is a bit larger 😅see how it goes

What was wrong with it? I have the same sub I found on the curb and sub itself seems fine the guy said it just stopped playing. I plugged it in and all hooked up and there seems to be some, barely any sound coming out

That’s how these two are. I don’t know why they are so quiet. I think I might just need a receiver with a higher sub output.

@@GTsGarageTech no I mean the amp is like not turning on. It's just the reg stereo coming thru un-amped if that makes any sense. Almost working like I bypassed the amp but all I did was hook it up like it is supposed to be. Thanks for reply

The fuse could be blown. It is located in the plug. If you un plug the cord from the amplifier there is a little fuse image if you look close and it pulls straight out
