Have watched many vids on glock sight installations and this is the first one I've seen where you make the vise work as a sight pusher. In-genius. Installing some Ameriglos on my 26 and will give this method a try vs tapping. Thanks.

For a third hand ya could use a C-clamp or a carpenter trigger clamp to hold block and pistol slide.

thankyou great Idea I just would have went with using the same method installing the new sight ..As you did removing it.. using a brass punch real close to the same width of the slide ,slot that way no marring up the sights Or having to beat on it with a hammer and Punch .. thanks again

Sure thing partner. Give it a try, make sure you also put your finger on the trigger and add some pressure while doing the whole motion. Don’t forget to load your magazines with hollow points as well.

I have a new 19X & it's hitting center but 2" low. My Rear Sight has to lines on the right side, which I read that those lines represent a 6.1mm height & I need a 6.5mm. Anyone know anything about this? Or what size do I need for my so I can hit POA/POI?? Thanks

Glowing night sights have a half life so don't use too much loc tite you'll be replacing them someday!

Did ok putting them on...however you didnt clean off the residue left from the old front site and you scratched the hell out of the new rear site putting it on. But hey...whatever its your gun...

It is all right with me and that’s all that matters. This is a tool that is used every day and I train with very regularly. I don’t expected to last forever and I don’t expected to always be in pristine condition. If I wanted a show room pristine gun I would get a 1911 with a nickel finish and never shoot it or even take it out of the safe. This is meant to be used, in and out of holsters hundreds of times, and show signs of wear and tear. You call me doofus for a tiny scratch? I call you doofus for thinking this type of tool it’s supposed to stay pristine throughout its life. -Jacko
