Thanks for your video Eric. I need to replace the EGR valve on my 2008 Jeep Liberty and your video was very helpful. The back T45 bolt was seized just like yours, so I did what you did and worked it back and forth and kept spraying it until it came out. Keep the videos coming! Thanks!!
Been checking out a few of your vids. I've got a 2007 Nitro with the 3.7l engine. Done had it for about 2 years. Good do it yourself tips in the vids yo. Subbed.
the new one i got has no vent hole on it as per the one it had on noticed it had a jerky feel when acceleration removed the new and installed the old one and it stopped jerky what would happen if running with the new one with no vent hole ? @@aricwithautoreplay
I sprayed it with wd40 (soaked it). Then I took a wrench and loosened it a crack then tightened it a crack then loosened it a little more then tightened it. I worked it back and forth a few times before it came loose.
From cleaning the egr. Mine wasn’t that clogged or dirty and I also have been using the Autel ap200 scanner to monitor engine conditions while driving and idling. I don’t think it has anything to do with the random idle misfire? That we are experiencing. My next thing is to cut off both mufflers because they are rusted pretty bad and maybe being clogged. Idk yet. According to the scanner everything is running good besides some random voltage drops which maybe from the tipm. Still investigating.
