👍 you should have applied some anti seize on the bolts and cleaned the disc from rust and applied anti seize so that next time the wheel and shocks come of easier.
Sachs are good for sure. They never disappoint me in the numbers I've used so far. I know KYB is predominantly used in Japanese cars. But maybe they've started making for Euro cars as well. Which is a good news as I heard they are good as well ( on Japanese cars). I tried saving money once and got some Optimal for my rears. It definitely was a huge mistake as they lasted only 2 weeks. To put in proper shocks again cost time and money again as I have to pay for labor for the same job again. It was a pain in the ass and a big disappointment for sure. Never again would I buy some these kind of small brands, ever!
1. Best choice for rear suspension in 240 are Bilstein B4 or B6. I buy Bilstein B4 last summer - they look like oem ones, and are better then KYB, Sachs and other aftermarkets. 2. Why don't you change both bolts when they so cheap? Next change of shock there will be problem with left side.
07:13 always put the nut back on a few turns before hitting the bolt. Saves mushrooming the end of the bolt. Anyways, looks like it wasn’t coming out anyways 😢😂
I always have problems and thinks it’s only me. My wife always says I complain too much about repairs. A lot of you tube vids gloss over the hard to reach stuff, problems etc
