Our Suburban stove had a recall and we didn't want to wait for an appointment with the dealer so we replaced it ourselves with a Dometic 50216g. You can find it on Amazon.

Thanks for the video. I'm ordering the Dometic stove now. Been using a hot plate and tired of waiting for what looks like a shoddy fix.

Thanks. I love this stove but it does (the glass) rattle sometimes while driving but all you have to do is put a dish dryer under it.

Oh. You checked the water line for leaks but you need to check the gas line also.
@connellyoff-roadadventure3265
You are absolutely correct. I did go ahead and check for leaks with a leak detector and all is well. I will see if I can add this into the video. Thanks for the heads up!

Pro tip, unplug the fuse before doing any electrical work.

Question how long did it take to install, looks like it didn't take too long. Thx

Maybe about an hour at the most. Just took my time to make sure it fit properly.

I have the same stove and pocket van. If I want to just remove the stove, do I cap the propane after the connection is removed, as shown in your video with a wrench?

Hi. I am not sure how to do that but if I were to remove my stove I would probably get rid of the tank all together. I would do this because I do not use my heater. Good luck in your project and happy camping!
