After changing the oil seal on the axle , I decided to change the oil in the gearbox also . Used 80w-90 gear oil . @NAPA AUTO PARTS delsmith6143@gmail.com
I am pleased you are feeling better. I usually use my sisters toothbrush to clean parts 🙂 Great job with the oil seal replacement. We tend to put in a new woodruff key while it is apart. I wish we had a store like NAPA, we have to orider our seals and bearing online

Hey Mr Noel , thank you very much . The oil that I drained out of the transaxle had a very bad smell to it . I’m not sure when it was changed last . Very good idea on the other seal . I appreciate the kind words and support !!!! 👍🏻🚜
PRO TIP ON THE PULLER. Do NOT use a 3 jaw puller on hubs that are stuck. Luckily this one came right off because the seal being bad kept the axle well lubed. It's better to set up a puller using other methods. There are good pics online.

No problem doing videos is not easy. People think you just hit record. Especially editing setting up so much to youtube its hard. Love the old wheel horse. My garage needs help as well
Ya Del I need to do my 1974 seals , so you got than a NAPA we have a Napa here in🇨🇦 should be the same I think I’m going to like this new channel the number was the big one right 9815 I wounded if there all the same 👍🚜🚜
Very informative but a little confusing when you continually refer to the "key" as the "key way"! The set screw sits on the key to hold it tightly in the key way!
