Replacing tweeter of a all rubber magnet trash panel and a tune

THe panels that should have been reused for parts where still here so i thought ill do some tests while they are still alive. i replaced the wire tweeter with a foil one using transfer tape (since my cnc is now long enough) and i used my 1 and only roll off 15 micron adhesive foil. i play also one tune see how they fair :)

If you wondered why the transfer tape is so sticky >????? i need to order a smaller roll less sticky. since it is removed easily from the backing of this tape i used. normally its hard to remove it from the cutting matt (the way i normally cut foils) hence why i only had the heavy stick tape at hand :)

Forgive my ignorance, but why did you do this? It looks really cool, but why did you put aluminum foil tape on the speaker? What does it do? What does the speaker sound like without the aluminum foil tape? How does aluminum foil make sound? How does it work?

hello. I am making planar headphones and I want to ask your advice as an experienced creator. Could you recommend a glue to glue the foil and film, it should be resistant to vibrations and lay down in a thin layer? Is it a good idea to use cling film, mine is 5 microns thick.

a good glue is 3M 30, or 3m 467MP tape, cling film wont work since its to stretchy and the alu coil is not , mylar is the most common , look for RC plane covering materials , used to cover the wings of rc planes. they have often a selection down to even 1 micron look at freeflightsupplies.co.uk google it is i did not put the correct Url haha

@@joppepeelen thanks! do you mean consider metallized films? I don't know what metal is used on these films
