The rubber skin on my D750 has come lose twice now even after Nikon replaced it, also all the port doors are buckled and the photo/video button fell off. Im going to leave Nikon soon Im buying a Sony, I won't miss there build quality. also forgot - the shutter needed replacing
That's a catalogue of faults, sadly Nikon have the vast majority of DSLR's assembled in China now and that shows up in build quality. The pro range, eg, D6, D5, Z9 are still built in Japan along with pro lenses. It's sad when somebody like you who chose Nikon decides to switch to another provider but I fully understand your reasoning.
