There are so many random facts on the internet now that are just not necessary. Plants survived out in the wild somehow without tiktok hacks for propagation hehe.
My dad used just any old garden gravel, or landscaping gravel. Nothing special about the gravel. Just any rocks would do to help with aeration and drainage.
I’ve found the name of the cactus it’s Pachycereus Pringlei. Found it on eBay while browsing. Thanks again for the video. I like the idea of using polythene instead of cardboard.😂🌵🌵🥰
Not right away, it will be more prone to drying out if you have two open wounds on both ends of the cactus. Its better to just split into two, and then splitting again if you would like to make more.
1. Those tongs are for food and are too sharp to use on cactus. I use rubber tipped tongs. 2. To strike cactus i stick them into a pot of dry Perlite till they root
@@takeiteasy7062 Any gravel is good. You can give it a good wash too. I'm pretty sure the gravel we used was sitting outside for a while on the drive way hehe. Perlite can be added in to provide more aeration so a mixture is good but not a necessity.
