REPLAY | 2024 Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Women - Stage One 

Excellent coverage and a top class, all British, all female commentating team here! Genuinely meant. Speaking as an English (male) former cycling instructor, in my opinion, it was the best and most professional commentating I've ever heard from a women's race and long may it continue! It was very good to hear the British team and other brits getting name checked, the crowds who turned out to watch the race by the roadside getting mentioned, along with the well informed, race and competitor specific knowledge being shared too, of course, in a clear and well paced fashion. All of which, can only help to encourage the enjoyment of cycle racing and also to encourage more women and girls to take up cycling and cycle racing too. Keep up the good work! Best of wishes.

Its time that this Tour of Gt Britain was a 6 day stage race these Woman are NOT amateurs these Racers are Pros as are the Teams come on British Cycling wake up its 2024 not 1824 6 or 7 days next year or just hand it all over to the amateurs .PS 88 miles the longest stage PLEASE another amateur distance.

Welshpool? Ive never seen a more dismal looking town. Maybe open with a sheep farm. The criticisms are fair enough, yet women's pro cycling is still in its growth phase.

What a wonderful race and to see all the all the top riders on British roads. We spent years trying to build bike racing up in the UK before and after the 2012 Olympics just to cancel more or less everything that people got involved with and enjoyed including Triathlon. 🤬🤬🤬

Slow, boring, and predictable - and just how many times did Danni Rowe say 'absolutely'? If you want to promote ladies cycling someone needs to sort the marketing and organisation out or you will lose even more viewers than turned off yesterday. No crowds apart from schools, parked cars, and oh! that dire cliche ridden commentary! Come on, someone, watch a different cycle race and take some tips from it! Even Boardman was unhappy at the dire offerings on show!
