Folks have been asking a lot of questions specifically about living hinge design since the last livestream. In it I showed how to place a living hinge in a design using Lightburn. But I didn't go into much detail about living hinges. There are tons of designs that you can use to make a living hinge. But before we get lost in the weeds, this livestream is going to talk about the basics concepts of a living hinge and how to lay them out in Lightburn.

I'm late to the Living Hinge Party - But it was a Lightbulb Moment to use for my little Post It Notes Holder/Binder - And as far as I could find, you had the only extensive video on this that made sense to me, well minus that crazy math part. Thank You !!! And 4 for all I've learned today !!

The tighter the spacing ie the smaller torsional link the less load per link. So the greater the flexibility. Try increasing the space between the slots and see what happens. The flexibility is now decreased.
