Yep, I remember that replay I watched back then... OMG, I guess 90% or so would just go GG after the first hero deaths... Those guys are definetely legends!
I appreciate that you keep your commentary to what is happening in the game. :) Too often I see casters start talking about other things while barely following the action on the map.
It amazes me to witness Grubby ... such a high level with 2 staff of silence not killing those 14-15 talons with bladestorm and winning easily .... he was constantly using mana on wind walk and was getting revealed.
This is the only thing I never understood. What was the mana cost on blade storm? Does cyclone cancel bladestorm? Most likely there was no chance to use it. This guy is the best ORC and knows whats up.
starting the video i thought who is the person talking. then i read: brought to you by remodemo. he doesnt sound like todays remo at all, iam blown away by how much of a difference a quality mic makes. unreal.
The only weakness of moon was himself. He practiced way too much everytime, making sometimes sloppy mistakes. He was even aware of it. Anyways very good game between 2 of the best players wc3 ever saw :)
+Pavlikov Roman Grubby pretty much lost like nothing every time he did a base race. It was moon who was forced to use tp each time while Grubby was enjoying using nothing but a speed scroll. What made Grubby lose was that he didn't notice the expansion right next to him ^^
the itemdrop probabilities are premade during map creation, ingame drops or order of kills does not change them. they are FIXED and saved inside the map file.
it is? how long does it take to find a game? I might get into this again, used to play NE such an amazing game... Orc is so annoying though, speed scroll still gives me nightmares!
Ilias Lerias I still play this masterpice online by Game ranger. Everytime I find people to play normal gamer.Even 3v3 or 4v4 is possible to be playied using this program
Damn, the memories. I played the hell out of this game for years... Am I wrong or did Grubby get a bit worse? There was a time when he was never making micro mistakes like that.
lv3 WW is much more better for him (of spending bm manas), see the post-match analysis: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5yidT2D0rcY.html
I think the reason was that Grubby thought that Moon was looking forward to it. Waits and he immediately transforms them into ravens. It was a mental game. This is the only reason that comes to my mind.
why do pros never utilize a zepplin to expand safely on the other goldmines behind main bases etc? I never seen this, and i wonder why since it seems quite good to me sometimes
Warcraft3 is such an insane game. Modern games like League of Legends or CS:GO demand 100% of your skill & attention sometimes, but also have plenty of down time where you're dead or between rounds. WC3 demands you're full skill and attention for up to an hour.
Can somebody explain why Grubby kept expanding so close to Moon? I feel like his first expo, after he killed Moon's was just him taunting Moon. When he kept trying for the whole game without taking one of the closer expos I was scratching my head.
grubby played the macro hit and run game then had a brain aneurysm and played like a bronzie completely ignoring obvious and probable expo spots. As he goes in for the win and moon rebuilt his whole army really fast obviously he has alot of gold. Why only 2 heroes if your never gonna cast ultimate? TC aura woulda been huge later on. great game by both fun to watch.
+Jordan Mcevoy He doesn't have enough mana due to dh's mana burn. He only has enough for a windwalk and he does not want to be mana burned again and lose everything.
I forgot about the beastmasters hawk, i was wondering why he didnt pop a mana potion and ult, but the hawk has true sight. so the threat of mana burn was relevant, my bad lol
i dont get one thing... why did grubby never use bladestorm... when moon tp's he could silence the whole bunch and just go full ham with the bladestorm and moon wouldnt have been able to do shit
Very good question. I didn't even think about it. Yea I think, because skilled opponent wll quickly spread its units and so you won't deal much damage. It's really only good vs buildings or if you ensnared everything (which he couldnt at the time, iirc).
@henrik borovsak, You're not wrong about your explanation but you are wrong about why he didn't master bladestorm. BM was lv 9. That means lv 3 windwalk and lv 3 crits. You still have 3 more lvs to master. Since he didn't use bladestorm, he might have mastered lv 3 mirrors and he didn't even use it. Not sure if he mastered bladestorm or not, but IMO, he should've used it at least once.
War craft 2 for the win!. Im so old school I remember when WC1 came out. It was my first RTS. I would love a WAR2 remaster but it wont ever happen. O well.
I'm with you. That's two sigs on a petition. Lol. Sad thing is they are going to gayify WC3 Remaster with WoWesque graphics... it's not going to be the same... just gay, colorful and cartoony.
@@duuuuuuuuuh135315 ya I liked how warcraft2 looked like. It was pretty much sc. WC3 is about to be WOW RTS. I guess it is still an RTs so could be fun game.

there are more choices I would have taken otherwise (but hey.. i'm the noob) - why didn't he chose to fight at his expansion when they had even supply and he was one expansion ahead? - why did he SO many hero focus instead of playing with staff/raiders/BM against the druids? - too much running away Yes, he forced many portals but he could have picked so many druids one by one and moon had no opportunity (wind tree was missing nearly all the time) to rebuild.

@@danasauer2381 he was again and again silencing 14-15 talons and not to mention bladestorm has spell immunity and very mobility .... one good bladestorm was an easy win so he should have saved for it when moon/grubby TP to attack or defend
Please watch the minimap while commentating. I did like 17 facepalms in that match cuz halve ur sentences are just wrong or you just miss the action while it is blinking on the minimap :/
Wow grubby lost this game with more total score. Just means that Blademaster isnt as strong as he should be. Should have more tenacity vs cyclone or something. The staff of silence did so much though so was quite a fair game. I think Grubby was unsure how to win and missed a win middle game though. Was certain moon lost after grubby won a huge fight mid game.
Why the hell did Grubby never use Bladestorm??? He just had to engage fight with mana on the blademaster (He had mana potions on the sh all the game long) wind walk into the talons, silence them, use a invulnerability potion and do this fuckung ultimate. Am I missing a point here? Also I dont get the point of grubby always expanding next to moons base when his expo there gets destroyed everytime. He could easily expand to the gold mine next to his base instad which would have been much easier to defend.
