I am a layman and a weak muslim but years ago when I read those verses it really did not bother me or even fry my brain...I just understood it as "Esa (AS) was not killed and crucified...I just believed that because Allah is all powerful, wise and all knowing, he can do anything and to make these enemies believe that they killed Esa(AS) is simple for Allah. How Allah did it is in the knowledge of Allah. Rather he makes a clear distinction of death and sleep. he clearly says when Allah takes the soul and does not return it that means person is dead and when Allah takes the soul in sleep and to those whom death is written he does not return their souls and those whose souls are returned by Allah are not dead. Sheikh Imran Hussain said that death is defined when Allah takes a person’s soul and doesn’t return it. Can Allah return a person’s soul? Of course! In many cases people’s souls are returned and therefore they don’t die. When Sheikh Imran Hussain said “School boy return and learn the Qu’ran” he was trying to say that some people when they’re about to die have their souls returned and get to live on like a second chance and for these people to take this second chance and learn and follow Islam through the Qu’ran. The brother in the video disagrees with Sheikh Imran Hussian about taking Jesus’s body off the cross and putting it in a cave and sealing it off… That part I agree with. Sheikh Imran Hussain gave an explanation without any reference to the Qu’ran. He basically said what he thinks is the situation but there is no textual basis. When doing something like that, you have to state very clearly that this is your thought and not directly from the Qu’ran or Hadith. Sheikh Imran Hussain is usually very clear and gives references to everything so this is surprising. However, he is very passionate and very angry at people for not being critical of the Qu’ran and I think this is one situation where his anger got the better of him. In the end Allah knows best so unless this matter males or breaks your beliefs, say Allah hu alam and move on. We will know what happened when Jesus returns inshaAllah.

I have watched many of Sheikh Imran’s talks, he has taught me a lot about the evils of interest, how riba has destroyed many nations, including Muslim nations. He is popular because he makes it clear that interest is haram, that interest mortgages and loans are not permitted for the true believers. Most Muslim scholars won’t talk about interest or the Dajjal, hence the Shiekh is very well respected. I disagree with his opinion on the crucifixion however, he does not mind if people disagree with him. I hope he comes back to to classical interpretation, as the matter is clearly addressed and interpreted by the early Muslims. May Allah forgive us and guide us, ameen.

Many scholars will make mistakes, but to make huge mistakes, often totally against Islamic teachings, is irresponsible and misleading the people. If he’s calling their acts or works pathetic, then that’s between him and Allah. I agree in that he shouldn’t direct comments at an individual. I guess it also depends on the scholarship of the individual, as many don’t have knowledge, they side with culture or secular beliefs.

Crucified & crucifixed has different meaning. To be crucifix means you have been out on a cross/ hung and (not) die. The individual is in a state of coma or near death from the torture method of the cross and still alive. To be crucified means you have put on the cross and (die) from your torture/wounds. The Quran says: They did not kill him nor was he ((crucified)) (but it was made to appear so) My itijehad (as I am entitled to one as recommended by the prophet saw) is that it was made to “appear so” meaning Isa (as) was in a state of coma but Allah swt later returned the soul in the cave in the same manner as when a individual is in a deep coma at a hospital then Allah swt raised Isa (as) body and spirit to the heavens for a while. A individual in a coma is not considered dead by the hospital staff. My question is how can Isa(as) return in his second coming if he died on the cross because every soul must taste death.. (my response to the Christians) To say another person took isa (as) appearance is false and is not a character of a merciful Allah to punish a innocent person that no body has truly identified in the first place. The problem with Islam is that the Quran confirms the Torah & the Bible, and not anywhere does Quran say they are "corrupted," as Muslims claim. In fact is says the Jews & Christians should judge by their scriptures. Muhammad even put a hand on the Torah saying he believed in the One who revealed it. If the Quran affirms the Bible & Torah, it affirms everything concerning Jesus, including his death & ressurection. Islam also, has another problem: Muhammad was a false prophet who was admittedly under the power of magic for like about a year. He even hallucinationated thinking he did things he did not do, like have sex with all his wives in one night. Muhammad was a pedophile, a liar, a murderer, adulterer, etc. Those are serious problems with Islam. That is why some of is would rather follow the perfect Jesus of Nazareth, not a filthy Muhammad.
I agree with you Sheikh, I got the same conclusion when I research this subject. But after I studied the methodology used by Sheikh Imran Husein for studying The Qur'an, I accept his view on this. The very fundamental problem I think is located on the methodology, so that's why there are several different interpretations on this subject. It will be wise if Sheikh Yasir give some comments on the methodology for study Qur'an used by Sheikh Imran Husein, because many of Sheikh Imran Husein opinions differ with mainstream ulama is caused by his methodology. But I'm very happy that many scholars in Islam right now is put some of their intentions on Sheikh Imran Husein Lecturers. May Allah bless for all our ulama.

Friend, Jesus Christ clearly stated that anyone who DENIES his crucifixion is inspired by SATAN. This is found in the Gospels which are confirmed (if you believe the Qur’an) as the eternal and unalterable (incorruptible) word of Allah and which Christians had with them and should judge themselves by. Actually Sheikh Imran himself said we can doubt and check his interpretations if we are not convinced. This is no defending of the Sheikh. Just observation. Also don't like arrogance and swearing; no side. Certain things are clearly taken from Injeel, Bible. This means he hasn't 'changed' the Quran. But taken from other sources. It is a difficult topic. Nevertheless it is not important for us what exactly happened. More important is he is alive. Isa bin Mariam didn't die. Isa bin Mariam is alive and taken to heaven. And he will return and surely clarify. Quran 4:157: "...but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them...". Accordingly whatever happened only appeared to them the way it happened. Whatever exactly happened Allah knows best.

I respect Sheikh Imran Hosein, I learned a lot from him. I would advise him whenever he interpretes a verse in the Quran he should say Allah knows best at least. Brother, just one thing Imran Hosein is not the only one who interpreted the verse that way, Ahmed Deedat (ra) also interpreted it that way.

I’m not a follower of sheikh Imran. I would like to point out something and then ask a question. According to the historical records the Roman governor of Judah at the time, Pontus pilate, did prosecute and crucify “someone”. Thereafter the body was taken to a cave. Now this is not in the Quran but is likely to have occurred. There is historical record of this as well as of Pontus Pilate being summoned to the Roman courts for the crime of crucifixion and was found guilty of this charge. I can send references for this assertion if required. I think sheikh Imran takes some of this history to include his interpretation. With regards to crucifixion versus crucifixion and ensuing death the Quran is clear that there was no crucifixion of Nabi Essa irrespective of whether death ensued or not period. So I do agree with u in this regard. But that does not mean the historically witnessed crucifixion did not occur as I’m sure u are well aware. Someone was crucified and this led to a deception. Is it that for the blatant set up of the “murder” of Nabi Essa Allah deceives the culpable bani Israel? My question is why the deception? Allah is infinitely just as we can Allah agree. I’m looking for the explanation of the justice behind the deception of crucifying someone other than Nabi Essa which then results in a people other than the bani Israel believing his ascension to be miraculous which then breeds the concept of Essa being the son of god which has now multiplied to close to 2 billion people? He is not popular of talking about sect, nor any denomination. So please, for those who disregard and disagreed him on in his views, just check for yourself if those teachings is contradicted with the Quran. Not necessarily true, Imran Hosein has the credentials, valid eschatology and knowledge in itself comes from God and through people who critically think regardless of "epistemology' which was introduced by agnosticism and theologians . Also this Sheikh follows the deoband approach to methodology. Whereas the founder of the deband and its school in the sub-continent was the same individual teacher was a devoted follower of Abdul Aleem Sidiqque. (i.e Imran Hoseins Teacher)

So Sheikh Hassan Ali, with your statement that Isa did not die on the cross because Allah changed his form to that of an innocent person who was about to be crucified, it means that Allah is sinful. How could Allah kill innocent man.... Not even the Koran knows who was crucified. God did not reveal who the innocent man who was transfigured into Isa was. Allah is not omniscient. Many Muslim scholar have many interpretations who was the innocent crucified.

Also, Isa alaihi assalam himself raised the dead by the permission of Allah. Does it imply that the person raised wasn't dead in the first place bcs his soul was returned by Allah?
His point is that Allah takes the soul of every believer when they sleep, and if he chooses death for them, there soul does not return back to their bodies. So he is asking Allah to Be saved from dying in his sleep. Ameen
But sleep is different from death. In Quran 5:117, Jesus is not asleep but he is clearly telling God "When I lived among my followers, I know" but when you CAUSED ME TO DIE, then only you are watcher over them. Sheikh Imran is exactly saying what Quran is saying. They did not crucify him means they could not kill him by crucifixion. It simply says that they could not kill him becos he came back to life.
Salamalaikum. Just wanted note an observation. Having heard Imran Hosein's explanation of the cruxifixction and also the traditional explanation of the cruxifixction, at first his (Imran Hosein's) version was controversial to me too but with time I realised, knowing both interpretations won't really throw us off the main gist of Islam and that Allah is one and to worship him. Disagreements like the above are matters for scholars and it is okay to differ in having our own interpretation. As long as we acknowledge that we might be wrong and that Allah knows best. The problem I think why most traditional scholars cannot accept Imran Hosein's scholarship of work is because he also includes other fields of study into his work for instance history, finance, geopolitics which many traditional scholars today do not. Traditional scholars only rely on Islamic history, and draw only upon knowledge from within Islam. For instance the part about the body being brought down and put into a cave is historical fact. Even if it rooted in the bible, this is a historical fact even historians do not deny. The question for us though is is that 'body' that of Isa A.S. or not. Allahualam. Another observation is that based on the first traditionally accepted explanation that your put forth is that someone went into the tent of Isa with the intention of killing him but failed and came out of the tent with his face changed and was then killed. I don't think there is a historical account of this either. Don't get me wrong, this interpretation was from a sahabah but he was not there 600 years earlier to witness this incident hence there is not real account of it happening. I'm just using this as an example of why people still gravitate to Imran Hosein 's body of work because it is more holistic and makes a lot more sense. To reject some of those 'evidence' without properly studying it or simply because it is not from within Islamic source only is not very scholarly. And again Allah knows best.
Actually all scholars includes other fields of study not only him, as for you saying that they only draw knowledge from within Islam , from where we need to learn about Islam if not from quran and hadeth . As for the story of cave as you said it is rooted in bible and bible is not a trusted source for Muslim . I actually can speak arabic and I can tell you that Allah said that they didn't kill and Imran hosein says he died which mean he bluntly saying Allah lied.
Other scholars do include a wide range of fields in their lectures. And no, not every historian agrees with the buring version of the story, as an example of such a disagreement two italian priests/ historians ( reseatchers in biblical history ) who concluded that the only explanation, after many researches and studies, is that someone else than Jesus 3aleyhi salam was taken for being him amd crucified.

I understand what you mean about the bible from a theological standpoint but I'm talking about it from a historical standpoint. E=mc2 is not in the Quran. The problem is most scholars don't produce their evidence other than to say this other scholar said so. I mean wouldn't it be better if they can cite the name of the actual person or incident where this happened. Within that alone there are many ways to interpret as to how it happened which we probably don't need to know specifically. Sheik Hussein has explained the Crucifixion better than i've ever heard explanations. His explanation fit that of the Quran than the Substituted someone else in the place of Jesus. Imran Hossain also said that Allah first took away the soul of Jesus Christ and then when he was buried, Allah returned back his soul. There are multiple versions of crucifixion.......Allah knows the truth. Our imaan should be that Prophet Jesus Christ is alive and will return back during end times.

Allah says no one will carry the sins or burden of another so it can't be that someone else was on the cross. That would contradicts the Quran. Allah says he made it seem as he died but he didn't. How many people have been placed in their coffin to later get up? How many have been buried and gotten up? How many have been even in their funeral to have gotten up, alive?? It's Allah swt that decides when the soul comes back into the body, if He wills it to be. ONLY Allah knows how He made it seem like he died- no one else. What is a fact is that Isoh Christo was on the cross and at one point Jibril took him up to the heavens for his return later on.

I just want to make the following notes based on what has been discussed: 1. The previous scholars used to write to each other to oppose the opinions and suggestions of other scholars respectfully by stating and giving their own opinions and suggestions on a subject matter with enough and undisputed evidence, which will then open a path for dialogue. My question is; have you done that (i.e. written to the Sheikh on his views and how they contradict the Quran and that of the sahaba in your opinion) before coming teach us humbly on your opinion and suggestions on what he might or might not have contradicted? 2. From a logical point of view like you clearly stated, Death can be defined differently and so the sheikh's definition in your view doesn't add up. You see, he defined it that way because of the subject matter, which was the death and crucifixion of Isa A.S. We all know as Muslims that the soul shall be returned to everyone one who has "died" and is "buried" in their grave and on the day of judgement. But his definition was based on the end of one's life here on earth before the person is buried. So when the person's soul is taken by the angel when his/her time is up, the person is said to be dead until they are buried from then, their souls are returned to them after the burial. But note that, these person's do not return to earth as they were before the burial although their souls have been returned to them. Hence I think his definition was spot on from that point of view in my opinion, Allaah knows best. 3. Surah An-Nisa [Ch 004: Verse 157] "And because of their saying, 'We killed Messiah ʿĪsā, son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allāh', - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts" It is simple logic to here because one has to die when hanged before they can be deemed to have died via crucifixion. Hence "but they killed him not" comes before "nor crucified him". If he had died (which is clearly stated in the Noble Quran by Allaah he did not" whilst being hanged, then the narrative by the sheikh would not have held and also Isa was not crucified when he was hanged as stated in the verse because one has to die whilst being hanged before he or she can be considered to be crucified (i.e. cause of death being crucifixion). So the verse goes further to say that "but it appeared so to them" Allaah made it appear to them that he had died (which he did not) whilst he was hang (hence he was not crucified). The verse concludes by saying "and those who differ therein are full of doubts". I understood this based on the clip of the sheikh you played before your analysis. I would say that, Allaah is the knower and judge of who's interpretation is best. Plus, the other two which you stated also make logical sense. You also said they were the blessed sahaba (whom we respect) who gave that narrative and not from the blessed lips of our beloved prophet Mohammed S.A.W.S. 4. You quoted a beautiful Hadith about the scholars of the end times. I don't see how it relates to the Sheikh in question. He invites other scholars to give their unbiased opinion on current topics such as riba [banking and money (paper dollar)], signs of the end times, the emergence of the mahadi, the brutality, sects and division in Islam, injustice and suffering of the Palestinian people and the shady businesses of the regime of certain Islamic countries (especially Saudi Arabia), geopolitics of the 21st century, an Islamic response to the feminist movement among others. And these are topics you hardly hear our imaams and scholars talk about on the mimars and during islamic programs. He also quotes such hadith and more during his lectures in the few ones I have watched. 5. You call his students followers. Is he a prophet to call his students followers? He himself calls them his students. He even goes further to say "no one should accept his views unless they have done their research and are convinced that his views are right". He has written a lot of books on different topics which he encourages the scholars like yourself to read and give him feedback in the form of constructive criticism (if you find a problem or problems in them), have you done that? It is true that we correct people when they're doing or practicing the wrong form of our beautiful Deen, but the right to judge them remains and is always Allaah's. May Allaah guide us rightly and unit us all under one umbrella which the Prophet of Mercy Mohammed S.A.W.S brought which is Islam (Muslims) Aameen 🙏🏾
Although Sheik Imran's methodology may be criticized on some specific points, he is the only scholar of our times who has the courage to tell it as it is, rather than compromise to please religious and political powers. Assalamulaykum warahamatulahi! Let me first appreciate the fact that you commented on this subject. I have always wanted to see a different explanation of any subject which Shaykh IHN has commented. It gives us deep and different understanding. May Allah reward you and the Shaykh too. As a student of Shaykh IHN, according to this particular video you referenced, both you and Shaykh have not provided any evidence suggesting "HOW" Isa AS was saved from "killing and crucifixion" other than what the Qur'an has provided. I would hold your argument to be beneficial and of great value since you've relied on the companions position. However, you never read any portion of the book to us other than showing us the book which is not sufficient to accept your scholarship. Quote the book name, page no and author. That way, we can do our own personal research. It would be better even if you can provide any evidence from the Prophetic traditions because this is a huge subject that is mentioned in the Qur'an which I believe the Prophet SAW is most knowledgeable about. In addition, if I may refer you the book written by Shaykh IHN: Jerusalem in the Qur'an, he argued there that Isa AS was not crucified because the implication of that would mean he's rejected by Allah which according to the Torah, anyone crucified is rejected by Allah. I believe that verse should be Deuteronomy 18:18, I apologize if I have misquoted that verse of the book itself. But I am certain to have read this from one of his book. I ask forgiveness for my shortcomings. Lastly, I am not here to defend Shaykh IHN or rebuke you, I just want the truth. We must accept the fact that from what I have mentioned about his argument in his book which is also slightly in conflict with his position in this video could be perhaps he's old, more so he's human and can make mistake which he normally say that often in his lectures. All in all, I remain with the Qur'an that he was neither 'killed nor crucified'. Any other explanation that contradict this is not accepted by me even though I am only a student of knowledge. The theory that someone was crucified in his place couldn't have been silent in the Qur'an. So, I will only accept what came directly from the Qur'an and the Prophet SAW on this subject. The companions are great without exception, but they are also limited in their own capacity. And we cannot always say they know it all because the Qur'an is timeless. Therefore, it is not possible for them to have complete explanation of what's in the Qur'an in all age and time which is why we need more scholars to look into this matters critically. If they do know all that's in the Qur'an perfectly without error, what that means is that the Qur'an can only be understood in the light of what they say. So many things that were not clearly understood in their time is more clearer today. Allah knows best. Sheik Imran Hosein is probably the only scholar who makes the Qur'an relevant in the time we live in and my best advice to my brothers and sister, to follow him and his advice. May we, In Sha Allah, resurrect on the Day of Judgment in his company and Sheikh Ahmad Deedat. Incorrect, the major point of contention is one that is not open for interpretation, Sh Imran Hosain said Esa ( AS) died and Allah returned his soul. The Quraan says that Esa( AS) was not crusified or killed. His words are therefore incorrect without any need to interpret anything.

So let me get this right, it is ok for you to take interpretations such as a man entered the room and came out as Isa As and then the Romans crucified him. Or Prophet Isa as asked one of his companions to take his place. I would say the prophets of Allah are the most bravest personalities to ever grace this earth. For Isa as to cower and ask his companions to take his place does not make much sense to me. I would ask our scholars to explain how was it made to look as though he was crucified. The Jews were celebrating proclaiming they killed him As. You said that this whole issue of Isa as crucifixion is part of Akida. Friend, Jesus Christ clearly stated that anyone who DENIES his crucifixion is inspired by SATAN. This is found in the Gospels which are confirmed (if you believe the Qur’an) as the eternal and unalterable (incorruptible) word of Allah and which Christians had with them and should judge themselves by. (QS 18:27, 5:43, 5:47, 3:3-4, 6:115 and 7:157). It's the Qur'ans dilemma! Does the Qur'an know WHY the Jewish high priests wanted to have Jesus crucified in the first place? Only SATAN would DENY the crucifixion. Jesus said-referring to his crucifixion- that SATAN would be DEFEATED at the cross: “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world (SATAN) be CAST OUT. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth [crucified], will draw all men unto me.” John 12:31-32 If you DENY the crucified Jesus, you will die in your sins (John 8:7). It's a decision between eternity in heaven or in hell. SATAN hates the power of the crucifixion because it is FOR us and not AGAINST us. It is the power of salvation. ‘From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” But He [Jesus] turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, SATAN! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” Matthew 16:23 Any attempt to "save" Jesus from crucifixion would have been SATANIC. Besides, Jesus stated that he could call 12 legions of angels (72 000) to save him from the crucifixion by the Romans if he so wanted but he would not since scripture had to be fulfilled! (Matthew 26:53) According to Jesus, any person, book or authority which DENIES his crucifixion is of SATAN, offensive and is not mindful of the things of God. The same is true of QS 4:157, which strangely comes 6 CENTURIES AFTER THE EVENT and DENIES-against the testimony of Mary the Mother of Jesus and the disciple John who were with Jesus while he was on the cross. Why? Because Jesus knew the details and purpose of his crucifixion in advance. Jesus stated that he was going to "lay down his life for his friends". According to the law of Moses, without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. Jesus says, "just as the Son of Man did not come to be SERVED, but to SERVE, and to give His LIFE a ransom for MANY.” Matthew 20:28. Jesus is the SERVANT of Isaiah 53 of the Jewish scripture (written long before the Greek, Rome, Paul and Nicea) who bared his soul unto DEATH and bore the SINS OF MANY. Isaiah 53:12 Tanakh Jewish Bible Soon after his resurrection, Jesus was seen by all his disciples and more than 500 others and spent 40 days with them before ascending to heaven in the same manner that he shall descend to judge the world. Not even the 5 pillars of Islam will save you, for in reality the Hajj of the Hajr e aswad (which "expiates sins") and the takbir "Allahu Akbar" to it is IDOLATROUS, an ABOMINATION and BLASPHEMOUS to the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Leviticus 26:1) 'Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who PIERCED Him. Imran Hossein said! What they did not know was that Allah made it appear to them as if he was crucified. which means he wasnt hanged. This still remains unexplained. In the end only Allah knows what happened, because everybody has his own enterpretation and thats what is dividing Muslims into many different sectors and it doesnt mean that he is a pathological liar, anyone can be a pathological liar, Allah protect us all. I am refuting him on his false tafseer of the killing of Isa (AS) when the Lord Himslef clearly said “they did not kill him nor did they crucify him” So how will you defend him when his giving out false tafseer that go against the ijma? So Imran Hussain is right and the sahaba and the rest of the scholars if this ummah are wrong? If you don’t have the knowledge on this verse then should you not be taking the view of the sahaba instead of a sheikh whose explanation for this verse is from his own whims?
It was not to be understood that Allah cannot return the soul rather, it was to be understood that Allah can take the soul and return it. So per your explanation, which of the two is right? Is it that, the face of Isaah Alaihi Salam was put on a Jew or was his face put on one of the hawaariyuun? Which of the two is correct? Is it the Prophet (Salla Allaah u Alaihi wa sallam) who gave these two explanations? As for the definition of death given by Sheikh Imran n hosein, refer to the Qur'an, Surah Az-Zumar, 39: 42.
When the matter is clear from Quran or Hadith then there is no difference of opinion. Multiple opinions are only produced when the evidence can be interpreted in different ways and that is why there are 4 main schools of thought, each one has its opinions and supporting evidence. If there was a clear answer regarding which one was right or 'the strongest' then the sahaba or other pious predecessors would not have differences in opinions and would have all followed that 'right' or 'strongest' opinion. So essentially we do not know for certain which one is correct however those 2 opinions hold a lot of weight and DEFINITELY have evidence for them. Only Allah Most High knows best.
As a deobandi myself i find it disgusting deobandi ulema only now comin out against IH? Where were u last 15 years? Living in a cave or something. It is not “died” it is “dies” when Jesus PBUH returns he will then die after his life ends. “And peace be upon him the day he was born and the day he dies and the day he is raised alive.” Surah 19 verse 15

At times it's so amazing how Muslims themselves disagree on the interpretation of the fundamentals of their book. I don't think you need the Bible or the Quran to prove that Jesus was crucified. You only need to read a little of history. It's a historical fact that Jesus was crucified and nothing can change that.

Jesus was not crucified nor died. Jesus was crucified and died. What's the difference? Nobody knows, the supreme Court hasn't even arrived at the definition of death. So truth is both of these, a paradox, it makes us question, think. If one view becomes a dogma, then the opposite is necessary to challenge it, such is the role of Islam as truth.

This confirms: INDEED, he was on the Cross but he was not CRUCIFIED, which means: he did not die on the Cross=Wa Ma Salabu 4:157=Not died on the Cross, *Because DEATH on the Cross is a binding condition of Crucifixion. If a Person is removed from Cross before his death on Cross, then that person is not Crucified; and if we translate words "Not Crucified" in Arabic, that become "Wa ma Salabu" which means: Not Crucified=Not Died on the Cross 4:157.* The fable which was blended in concocted Tafsir books, says: that Jesus was replaced by someone; *and this fable was INDEED Originated from Agnostic Christians.* When some Christians and Jews converted to Islam. They carried this fable of "Substitution" with them, and spread among Muslims. Then that Fable was blended in Books of Hadiths and Tafsirs. *All books of Tafsir are HIMALAYA of Fabricated stories which were spread by people of book. I am an Orthodox Christian and, for some time, I carefully watched with high interest the teachings of Sheikh Imran Hosein . God is One regardless if you call HIM ALLAH or with any other name. Concerning our Lord Jesus, it is nowhere stated that HE was killed on the cross. HE was crucified because crucifiction was the main form of punishment during the times of the Roman Empire and while BEING crucified, HE died on the cross. The wise Sheikh Imran Hosein, explains all this while providing examples from the Holly Quran ITSELF. I am concluding my posting with one final thought; Orthodox Christians have never been part of the Crusades, and peace between them and muslims can easy be achieved if we make reference to the wise teachings of Sheikh Imran Hosein.
