I've bought many items from yourselves. Whatever it is, whether that be gloves, jackets or backpacks (think I have a backpack problem 😂) the service has always been wonderful, efficient and very professional. Keep up the great work and thank you.

My experience with all outdoor shop staff in every company from Cotswold Outdoor, to Blacks and more personal services like yourselves has been exemplary. Outdoor gear shop staff are a rare breed of enthusiastic and friendly people. At least to me. But i have two reasons why i always come to Trekitt first when i'm looking for gear. 1: is is the level of help you provide. Your customer services always go above and beyond when answering my questions. My only complaint is that you don't always have what i want. But who does? 2: Is the videos. You're informative, informal and friendly. And not too afraid to look a bit geeky and silly on occasion. Keep on doing what you're doing.

Your customer service is second to none. I've spoken to Kayleigh on more than one occasion (and not because of any fault of your own, but down to my stupidity I may add) and by the time the issue was resolved I felt like I should be sending her a Christmas card. Definitely my go to outdoor retailer.

Had quite a few purchases from yourselves lately, always delivered swiftly and any returns dealt with equally quickly, its almost always been the same day the courier tracking says its been delivered.

While there are always things to improve, lots of these reviews are customers needing to take responsibility for their part as in doing research or them coming to terms with the fact that not always things work exactly as you please. Personally, I work in an outdoor shop as well and couldn't be happier when the mask mandate was lifted it feels so good to do my work freely.

The refund system is a bit of an issue personally. Some people DO not have the extra money to pay twice while they wait for a refund to purchase again and unfortunately sometimes the item we need is then out of stock and the customer misses out twice. This happened to me. Saying that I have purchased from Trekkit and only ever experienced great service and very respectable staff.

I don't drive and have to catch 2 buses taking about 3.5hrs there and the same back... worth it every time. Book a couple of appointments a year to check on latest ranges or kit I need, and then can order online after as required, knowing things will fit and saving returns. (can't afford to spend my entire wages at once). Always found emailing customer service helpful even though they must be busy with queries on all sorts. I like the rewards scheme too. It's a much better experience overall than your average high street shop. Hence I'd spend 7 hrs of my day getting there and back. I've built great memories using kit I've bought from you, which is what it's all about really.

Trekitt are fantastic, really good service every time I’ve used them. I have got some really good kit from them that I use all the time. Whenever I have to return something, I send it signed for 1st class and on the occasions I’ve returned an item, they have returned it the day after I sent it, which is excellent. My only criticisms are that, whilst I do love the fact that they have non plastic packaging, the packaging does come on rather oversized brown bags, which could really be smaller and would benefit from having a return sealer that you could peal off and return without having to cover it in sellotape. Also Free Returns would be nice, like quite a few other companies offer, but I do understand that eats into profitability.

I've had a few orders from you guys including one return for an item that didn't fit. Yes your return policy could be clearer on purchase but it is awesome that you have identified that from feedback. You seem very customer orientated and proud of your business and staff at the same time. I don't mind waiting a few extra days for a return refund, or paying the postage either. Service has always been bang on with every order. I've learnt a lot from your videos and wiIl continue ordering with Trekitt by way of thanks for those alone.

I'm a big fan of Trekitt - always great customer service, good range of quality products and competitive pricing. Whilst I was disappointed when you stopped doing free returns (as I often buy in multiple sizes when ordering online to ensure I can find the best fit, since sizing is always different between brands), I can understand this might be unsustainable for a small business. Perhaps a good alternative to requiring the customer to be fully responsible for any returns, would be to provide a returns service where customers can opt to buy a pre-paid returns label from you if they wish to return something. As you're no doubt aware, these return services (e.g. Hermes/Evri Drop-Off, Collect+, etc) normally allow customers to drop-off their packages at a convenient location (newsagents, convenience stores, post office, etc), and are often cheaper to use than Royal Mail - especially as (I assume) retailers can agree a cheaper price for a bulk quantity of pre-paid returns than an individual customer can ...so not only would it make the returns process easier for the customer, but hopefully a bit cheaper too.

There is a fundamental reason why you guys get my custom and that is your commitment to customer service/satisfaction. That alongside your knowledge, videos and great range of outdoor products is why I am still and will continue to be a loyal Trekitt customer. Keep doing what you are doing. You can't please all the people all of the time but, you can certainly please the vast majority of us with the great service you provide.

This video is a hoot. People are a puzzle but your advice was spot on. Kudos for protecting staff and customers, even though restrictions have changed. I bought a tent from you, based on the great content you proved. The overview was in depth and informative and you offered the tent at a competitive price. One I've seen and heard a lot is about folk taking down jackets back because they were told it was waterproof and it wasn't, when what they were told is that the jacket has been made using a hydrophobic coating on the down filaments...they just don't understand the jargon.

We do try to explain that DWR's and hydrophobic treatments as separate entities to waterproof membranes, but understandably there occasionally is some confusion. We're working to make this clearer using a rating system - I can't give a timeframe on this though. Harry

@@trekitt I've actually stood behind a guy at a checkout who had a rab Microlight on and he was literally soaked to the skin when I told him that it would take ages to dry he replied, its ok mate it's waterproof??? 🤔🙄

Since having a number of awful online purchase experiences with both Go outdoors and Blacks I then used Trekkit. I have made a number of online purchases since then and all I can say is that from purchase to delivery they have been faultless. This includes returns, never a problem and a speedy refund. Great company, great service. Well done Trekkit!👍🏻

Great honest video Paul ... and there's nothing wrong with fjällräven gear ... I have never been disappointed with G1000 when used appropriately... but I would just like to add that I have a skogso jacket ( G1000 light in main parts ) and a Greenland jacket with is the standard G1000, and that holds up better in a shower .... Good info as always. One idea with the footwear sizing would be to drop a link to the video as people are picking size advising them to check the video first. Then they have the option of watching the video and getting the right information before buying. If they skip the advice you can make a we told you so video next time. Just a thought

Oh goodness, people love to complain about things we all have no control or their own lack of research. The company I work for got a bad review because the national park we are by was closed for the season and we wouldn’t give them a free room for their inconvenience, even though they hadn’t pre-booked with us or anything . 🙄 Good on you for putting the safety of your staff and customers first! Love your videos. =]

Always happy to watch your reviews Paul. I wish you guys shipped to the EU, but I do understand why it is prohibitively expensive for SMEs in the UK to export to the EU post-Brexit. Over the years you guys have stocked some pretty unique products, that I wish I could have gotten my hands on, such as the all black Rab Neutrino with oversize pockets. Keep up the good work!

If you use PayPal, they will refund postage on return items up to 12 returns in a rolling 12 month period.

Well all I can say is that I have only been to the shop on one occasion, when I visited Hereford a few years ago. Great service and that is why I continue to buy online from Trekitt. Sizing quality and fit has always been spot on and have never needed to return any clothing. Maybe I'm just lucky 😁 but as you say Paul, each customer should always do their research before buying. Trekitt will be my first option everytime.

Fairplay to you there. Not many would do this. I find you have great reviews but a bit of an agenda to push certain brands which I understand as that's what you stock and I find I make my own mind up doing research. My girlfriend had the arcteryx norvan 2 off you in the sale recently and is delighted with your service though and I'll definitely keep an eye out. 👍

Really glad to hear you putting your staff's wellbeing first. It's a bonus that they also didn't have to deal with that selfish anti-mask creep! Had he bought something, he'd have probably still featured on this list complaining that his down jacket wasn't waterproof.

Totally agree with your comment of the person mentioned about having to wear a face covering, like you say not really a person you want in your store I don't blame you at all and it seems to me it's the kind of person I have to put up with daily in my line of work in transport. The Draconian and useless mask rules during the scamdemic were certainly senseless, and all about power control and fearmongering. I certainly never wore one ever, even though I travelled extensively and shopped everywhere. Trekkit's absurd rules during that period certainly were uncalled for, and saying that it was 'for safety' is a total joke!

Bought many items from trekitt online over the last 2 years, sent 2 items back (wrong size)100% my own fault. Most items had a sizeable discount. I have recommended trekitt, which is something i rarely do, so they must be good. Good show keep it up.

From the title I thought it would be much worse, kinda like the "Celebrities read mean tweets about themselves" series. Some people had reasonable issues, even though they didn't understand how the internet works and that you aren't responsible for issues like discount codes from third party websites. Some people don't seem to know the difference as if they never had a Karen customer in their own job experience. Some of the issues were just absurd, like the "police state" guy, completely disconnected from reality and not understanding what it means to be responsible for the wellbeing and livelihood of other people. Makes me sad but also kinda curious WTF this person does for a living.

I notice you've taken a perfectly polite and intelligent comment down, which I felt strongly about as a customer rich or poor. It had some merit then? For sure there is censorship here on what is a democratic platform - I see no problem if our most valid views are expressed in a stable adult manner. I even gave credit where credit was due.

@@trekitt Oh, it was an observant comment that wasn't essentially in keeping with what's favorable. It referred to differentials, status, monied people and the tones received if you haven't the spending power - it was based on my legitimate experience with trekkit. Peace.

Have to say honestly you boot advice is common sense. If buying online you have to make a judgement and do a bit of research. Also every boot I’ve owned needed breaking in and I had blisters to start with, that’s life no one has the same feet. I also happen to be one of those weird people who can be a large or XL or even XXL in the different brands, again a bit of research

Well done for addressing this. You give a fantastic service and to be honest if they are complaining about yourselves then they will not be happy anywhere. Most of these arise from consumer ignorance….something which Trekitt are at the forefront of challenging with your excellent videos etc. I heartily endorse your comments re the “w***y camping shop one…some people you just don’t want about the place. Keep up the good work and never let the comparatively few ignorant assholes grind you down.

well i paused the video to read the comments and to be perfectly honest the people commenting are a waste of space and you are better of not having them as customers. some of the stuppidest comments and reasons for complaint i have ever seen. these people are obviously the weekend warrior bunch and a waste effort to deal with good on you for telling them to get bent. iv bought many times from you no issues great gear easy returns etc etc etc
