That is a nice outside jacket and with all the pockets it has you don't havee to carry much in a backpack, or EDC bag. I love the scenery there and the drone did a great job of recording the scenes it saw.

Hi Tom and to all our world-wide team. This is a very good training video by a passionate and knowledgeable teacher. We each learn something new and sometimes good teaching prompts more questions. Quality beats fashion and a cheap false-bargains. But to select good quality outdoor clothing and equipment requires good knowledge of different fabrics, closure (buttons - flaps - zippers - buckles - snaps - draw strings - etc.) and the correct positioning of the features. Then, you need to closely inspect the sewing thread used and the overall quality of the sewing and its reinforcement points. So we all need good mentors to guide us in our learning. Observation. Many cold weather jacket hand-pockets do not have a quilted outer layer to help help your hands warm. The large square front pocket could have a thermal sitting pad that would serve as a thermal barrier for your hands. Some jackets have this sitting pad internal pocket in the small of your back to protect your kidneys. Good quality outdoor items often have an initial high cost. However, over time if we keep our kit clean, in good repair, conduct the annual maintenance (proofing) and store them correctly; then 20 to 30 years good service is not unreasonable. Nice review! Seems like ha handy anorak, I went with the Keb Jacket but the Keb is more suitable for technical trekking. Sure these jackets make you feel confident wearing them.

This Tom, looks a lot like where I live apart from more fields than trees where I am, I love fjallraven clothing though I cannot afford it, they are a very ECO friendly company, so I use a Wax jacket not too dissimilar from a Barbour jacket that is tough and very warm if though a little heavy. Well Tom, another great video, many thanks from all in the UK, maybe you could make it to the UK Bushcraft show one day.

Yes Fjällräven is very expensive 🤔 and I only did afford the anorak because I had sold my bike 💪🏻😎. But it’s also a great brand and very durable clothing 👌🏻😉. Hope you’ll have a wonderful day 🌤

Good evening Tom...I love the anorak! It is aesthetically pleasing and looks like it is made to last for many years under harsh conditions...but the price was a dealbreaker for me, unfortunately. You are doing very well with your drone. The overhead footage is quite stunning...and I love how you have it "seek you out," then zoom in on your position. By the way, I bought a flask this weekend. Hello Tom, just received my anorak n°8 dark olive in XL, like yours ! I'm a bit shorter and lighter than you and it fits real me fine. I got the right size on the first shot, sometimes it's a real bloody mess to get the right size online. Thanks to you video, take care! 👍🏻

Hello again from Scotland. I wear a military smock a lot of the time as its very roomy and I can wear layers underneath it. Its also Gore-Tex and very weather proof. Nice anorak tho!. Atb Jim

Excellent Anorak, I have the same, in the same color and the same size 😉 I bought it two years ago, I can not say anything bad except that it is a bit expensive, but the quality has a price. I can only recommend it.🍺🍺🍺

The Anorak No.8 has no lining or padding so you need a good mid-layer when it's cold. My ordinary fleeces were not warm enough in very cold weather but I have just bought a Patagonia Retro Fleece which is perfect mid-layer insulation. It's actually double sided fleece so it traps two layers of air under the anorak. I also tried the RAB Double Fleece as well but it was too bulky as a mid-layer, even though it's a great jacket.

Such *beautiful forests.* Its like something out of a movie. I live in the deep country, but my forests look so different. Not so "clean" I guess you could say. I dont mean they have trash everywhere, but there are leaves & branches etc all over the forest floor. The tree's in your's look perfectly spaced, nice green moss everywhere. It looks like someone comes in there every day to make it look beautiful or something. Either way, it makes great video haha. I very much like that coat you showed. I am not familiar with its kind. Is it good for cold weather? I noticed the Leatherman Tread as well. I too, am a Leatherman fan. I cannot leave the house without my Wave.

Tom, Another Great video, the drone footage was outstanding .I enjoyed the ammorak, I had been wondering about that. Can u special order to fit your paticular needs and desires? Or u have to just go with it and make it fit your needs.? If u hike in 1.5 miles to the site u plan on doing the main video, by the time you walk back an forth retrieving your camera after each shot and setting up for next shot, U are actually doing a 6 miles hike or longer, depending on terrain and weather conditions. Your nephew captured the essence of your Bushcrafting in a good way. Kinda humorus but good. My friend Stay safe in the woods

The anorak is standard size and you have to find the right size for you 👍🏻😁. My experience is that the anorak is big in sizes and lots of room in it. And Yes 👍🏻 😄 I do walk a lot because of the camera placement 😉👌🏻 but that’s ok See you on the next one 🌤🏕
