The historic encounter between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un took place on June 30 at the inter-Korean border village of Panmunjom, also known as the Joint Security Area. It's also the place where the first inter-Korean summit under the leaderships of South Korea's Moon Jae-in and North Korea's Kim Jong-un happened in April 2018. We visited the heavily fortified border where the two Koreas are making various efforts to reduce military hostilites amid the recent thaw in relations.
