Our health care is in shambles. There is no management. All staff do as they please and there is no system or routine. There is also no repercussions for wrong doing or bad behavior. They watch each others backs because they all do the same things
Night shift staff ain't working, they leave the patients there until the day shift starts. You will find the night shift staff relaxing at each reception ward chatting all night long. Even during the day. The staff speaks so loud!!! They are so noisy!!!! These hospitals are full of Germs!!!
Yes! They don't work or they work so so slowly, it's crazy. My wound took 1:30 to dress. She forgot so many essentials dressing and had to walk up and down to fetch it. The wound should have literally taken 5 minutes when down right
This is so unacceptable! To only consider 2% when the neglect and conditions of the hospitals are a violation of human rights and for the healing of the living!
The ANC effed these facilities up, let them fix these hospitals before they start talking about nhi. Because without hospitals and staff there will be no nhi
Money to improve the hospitals is channeled to tenders so that cadres can eat. Look at the corruption in Tembisa Hospital where a whistle blower was even killed. May her soul rest in peace and her daughter and family find peace in their hearts so as not be depressed because it will cause more harm to their health. ❤❤
SA is where Russia + China were for 70 yrs before the Berlin Wall fell. The idea that inexperienced in life, career politicians can solve anything via the only system they know - a proven failed marxist system - is a pipe dream. Theyre heading for trouble with a capital T. Problems with medical care like with every other sphere of life, is not in the detail of hospitals who all happen to suffer the same fait. Rectifying the nitty gritty will be cosmetic. Penny wise, pound foolish at best. It asks for adjustments to its ideology + policies. A better life with everything for free, was promised + ppl got poverty, measly sassa, massive unemployment + grossly dysfunctional medical care, with more to come in the pipeline. To be part of a modern world with effective systems + infrastructure asks for policy + ideology reforms from whoever rules or want to rule SA. Its 1 of adjust or die.
There are repercussions for poor to terrible health care. this guy minimises the failure with his 2% complaints. If that were true then why are the claims against the health department running to 700 million and confirmed that 169 million paid out so far this year!!!! Hes not being truthful. A friend has been on the list for knee replacement for kver a year and is only scheduled for sometime in 2025
During apartheid there were many doctors and nurses in hospitals . Today you find one nurse in ten wards and one doctor in 20 wards . You can be told doctor is coming for a month . Under apartheid I remember was was taken to hospital and a white doctor treated me within ten minutes . Today you go to the same hospital and a doctor will not be available for months and you will be told the doctor is coming . Shaka Zulu said we will never run this country as a black race and we still forced ourselves into government without a clue
I am not sure which apartheid because the one I know there were fewer nurses in black peple hospitals and they were drained because they had few resources
@@dot510 What is fewer? Half doctor because there is one now? .All the resources you see in these hospitals were only bought by the white staff from the GNU of Mandela and NP .Give me a name of one hopsital built by the ANC?
Nursing staff are also human ... overcrowding in hospitals hit them hard, employ more nurses, doctors, auxiliaries, porters, security, put more resources.
Budgets on maintenance are shifted to be available for tenders of other issues.. Doctors are working in their private practices during the states hours and paid no control. Posts are budget for whole financial year if official leaves mid-year the remaining money is removed instead of filling that same vacancy. Nurses are controlled by unions making discipline where needed difficult. Rotten potatoes are brought back to the system through appeals. Some work ers don't want to work but must earn to the salaries. Quality of leadership through connections. We need to start afresh . Corruption of our supply chain systems. Influx of illegal immigrants that are not budgeted for in our hospitals. Poor development of other hospitals and those from neighbouring countries overloading other hospitals. Government is aware of these problems but like to blaming games
The problems are complex. ANC parliamentarians are using private healthcare. They are not concerned with mismanagement of hospitals, our hospitals are flooded with illegal foreigners receiving healthcare for free. Which is not sustainable.
Open border of SA to all of Afrika and make Juju Malema king , president of all. Urope peeples can all go to Cape and put border up for cape urope peeples. Everyone heppy. 🎉
