He wants to address the chronic disease epidemic. This stuff matters! What the heck are the other candidates even offering us? Just stop and think about it. I dont think so. That is because RFK supporters dont support him on a whim, they are the people who whatch hour long podcasts and read books, in other words they ll listen to the details on what his reasoning is, and will probably draw very similar conclusions. If a democratic leadership doesnt allow 3rd parties to run they wont allow it in 2028 either, so the only way forward is to change leadership first. But even if RFK just doesnt draw votes from Trump, that might be enough the win some swing states, so it is quite very cosequential no matter how you see it.

And a significant number of RFK supporters came were republican supporters, and a significant came from former Democratic supporters. & even someone who’s independent, who is/was a supporter of RFK Jr. is most likely NOT going to sit on the sidelines lines. I was kind of thinking about RFK except for the conspiracy theories. I came to the conclusion his family knows more than we do. I hope his votes don't go to Trump. Kennedy's feelings about vaccines, which I agree with due to my distrust of big pharma, shouldn't have been a factor. As president, other than the bully pulpit there is nothing he could have done about them anyway. The only way to change the way vaccines are used is through legislation. Anyone who listened to Kennedy at all must know he was by far the most knowledgeable and honest of the candidates. He understood the problems (which are massive) and he had well thought out solutions. And unlike the other candidates he didn't just say things to get votes; he actually meant what he said. How unusual is that! I'm 77 and I've never seen it before. I deplore Trump. He is a great danger to the country. But if he gives Bobby Kennedy a platform from which to finally be heard, maybe it is worth the risk. Something has to be done to save this dumbed country.

Probably because his platform is so varied and doesn't align with too many people. By that I mean that you may very much agree with a plank or two but vehemently disagree with others, and it's so divided that it's too difficult to support him overall. Of course some people will feel his policy ideas align with theirs, but it's really tough to support someone who may agree with topics you agree with and other values you simply can't stand. It could be other things, but that's how I see it.

I wanted Bobby Kennedy to run for president way before he decided too. If people actually knew his story and not these conspiracy stories about him, he would be president. We would be lucky to have Kennedy as president not owned by anyone, who cares about Americans, and who wants to unite both sides.
How do you think he would have gotten anything done if no one knows him? He would have been the least effective president of all time. He needs a team to get anything done and he doesn't have one. The executive branch is just one of three and they all check and balance each other. He would not get any environmental protections done because the supreme court would just shut it down. He would expand the war in Gaza because he feels that there are no non combatants in Gaza.

As someone from the rural South, I honestly don't think the problem is "elitism" per se. There's more than one reason for this but in recent years, Democrats and/or liberal media focus almost exclusively on social identity. They might sign some bill but most people won't hear much about it. This "woke" stuff gives Republicans a raison d'être.
