Sometimes we have to laugh at ourselves. Yes, this is me almost missing the entire launch while live-streaming. I swear I was a reporter for 10 years 😝😂. #falcon9 #starlink #spacex #lol
@@Handles-R-Lame Actually, I'm disappointed that I was off by that much. I didn't use a timer; I just counted the seconds, so I must have counted too slowly. Thanks for letting me know.
Lucky for her that Space X launches are like on a public bus schedule rather than the Apollo or Shuttle launch schedule. She'll just catch the next one...
When that solar eclips happened a few years back, i had a plumber fixing my toilet... i said come outside you gotta see this, he said no im just gonna work, i said NO this happens once every 11 years your coming outside... me, my brother and the plumber watched the sun turn red and go out for a minute, was amazing and he was real happy we made him come out lol
I waited sooo long for that eclipse. My school locked us inside during an eclipse in the 90s and i was so bummed they didn't take the opportunity to show us with safety glasses or shadow boxes. The idea that i would be an adult when my next opportunity came was insane to think of. I booked the day off work, and my girlfriend and i had a picnic with eclipse glasses.
This was priceless! So glad you were willing to post this. Moral of the story, it's really - really - helpful to have someone behind the camera! You are doing great as a solo reporter. Cheers from Alaska PS Nice Audio!!!
And this is why we have stupid crazy woman. Because we still have the idiot man who can't even watch a RU-vid video designed for children without saying something creepy.
This is basically what happens with every sports commentator. They spend so much time yacking with some former coach's son's stepbrother that they miss 3 plays.
Yes! Brighter than the launch were her Jedi skills in seeing the humor of the situation ! Launches come and go, but self-effacing humor is a skill for a long and happy lifetime ! B---)
I had to chuckle here, but for a different reason… Miss Ellie, that skirt is definitely half of a “Xena warrior princess” cosplay! 😂😂😂 Keep doing what you’re doing!!!
She is very pretty. Happens time to time when reporting live. I am sure this will not ruin her career. Still an exciting launch and her reaction is wonderful.
@@ellieinspace You caught the launch though. Everything else is CGI or Project Bluebeam. If you want the red pill to know the truth. You can start with Operation Fishbowl, Operation Highjump and Operation Paperclip. Oh, also Genesis 6 and Werner Von Braun's (NASA's founder and top scientist) scripture on his headstone. With all of that, you have to be able to put it together. God bless and Godspeed. 🙏🏻
Nicely handled! I was almost anticipating a really awkward maybe frustrated reaction but you're practically giddy. The most charming mistake I've ever seen! 🎉
Love this SO much...! Ellie in Space didn't miss the Launch , so much as being consumed by SM.... Her posts on SpaceX are accurate and on point. The only reason she missed the Launch was due to the speed of sound. Cheers Ellie ... keep on keeping on..! Love your work...!
Hilarious! I love this. But now we all know you were using a tripod, & didn't have a second person there with you to interrupt and say "Um, rocket, right there behind you!" ;-) Keep up the excellent work and the fun humility!
Fantastic. She’s an accomplished RU-vid space journalist. But she’s still a one-person shop. I’m impressed that she’s secure enough to post this. So funny!
Doesn't matter, she was just showing us how cute her skirt and boots go together, and, oh shit what's going on, OMG a launch! I hope Tatum sees my outfit hehe
More like Ellie IS spaced-out.😂😂 Funny, and her reaction is cute. Don't worry spacey one, you can catch the next one!😊 At least you still brought most of the launch to your viewers🎉
I was watching IFT-3 and the launch control audio that was playing had a 20 second delay. I was taking a Pano of the crowd, then saw the rocket. Ellie does a great job.💯
She's the production manager. And everything else. That's why no camera operator, just a tripod. Classic RU-vidr. Her channel's actually pretty good, especially the interviews.
When NASA launched the LADEE mission from Wallops Island VA I heard and saw it...I live 5 minutes from central PA...easy 200 miles away of coarse sound very delayed from visual cues...amazing
I don't think this will lose her a single one of her subscribers. She's cute, enthusiastic and talk about rockets. That will be more than enough to keep the attention of tens of thousands of space nerds. What I have seen of her reporting on Spacex has generally been decent and not just fluff but there is no doubt that she leans heavily on her looks to drive her viewership. I'm sure she is embarrassed and will no doubt follow her for a long time but it will barely create a papercut in her current brand. All of the other RU-vidrs covering space are lining up to cross promote her channel. Why wouldn't they.
@@billb4930 Thank you for that, Bill. I didn't try to sway anyone's subscription with my comment but I do agree, she relies heavily if not solely on her looks.
I was behind her at the grocery store the other day, she dident know the cashier, but do you think that made a difference? No. Not at all. My ice cream melted all over the floor and still she talked on, and on, and ON!
This is like my wife who wouldn't stop talking during the third Starship test flight. I eventually had to tell her that, while I could pause the live feed to listen to her, I would rather not.
