Watch as Poitier rips into reporters who are only interested in asking him questions on race, rather than focus on his work as an artist.

yes and he never ever cast aspersions on all whites but kept the conversation to individuals that do it. These radio stations and media outlets are controlled by the powers that be and forced to only show and talk about sad, depressing negative stories to not only control your thoughts but instill fear in you. 30% of the time they will give good information about what's going on in the community tho so it has it pros. Respect and appreciate this man having no choice but to keep his cool and turned tables on the media. Making him to answer for all things civil rights as a famous Black.

What a beautiful question he posed to journalists! Unfortunately, journalists have not learnt. They still focus on negativism now.

Now THIS is something unifying !!!! Not all the race hate and division we see today, labeling everyone and thing as racist for a political agenda!!! This man was a real one, and he believed in MLK’s philosophy of being COLOR BLIND and NON VIOLENT, leading with POSITIVITY and LOVE rather than hate and divisiveness. I wish the race hustlers and their millions of followers would take heed to this wisdom Alas, I won’t hold my breathe. RIP

Shut the hell up! Because your cluelessness on him being made an example of by the press and to answer for all things civil rights as a famous Black is sadly apparent to me. MLK wasn't colorblind and by your talking points I see where U align politically. I won't hold my breath U changing your bigoted outlook and palatable comfort level U want with Blacks. Not calling out racism. 🙄😐
