No mention that CEO sold $3.6 million of stock two weeks before the equity collapsed. They should investigate insider trading by the CEO and CFO, and clawback their gains
Ya as a senior architect in NYC after 37 years of work I got a bonus, lucky me, $5000 and all I got was $3200 after taxes. Oh shit I can buy a house with this bonus!!!!!NOOOTTTTTT
They should not be getting bonuses for a bank that failed. Their bonuses should be based on the health of the bank. If it's failing...their not doing their job.
If the bonus was planned a year in advance, I don’t mind working people getting a bonus if they actually work. The fed caused this crash, not any type of fraud. What are we going to do, take away working peoples bonuses to pay back poor billionaires? That sounds absurd.
Bonuses were planned in advance based on performance in a prior year. Many of us were everyday hardworking people who had nothing to do with the bank's failure. So many people on the outside want to burn all SVBers at the stake. It's amazing how so many of you are "after the fact experts" on what you THINK happened giving opinions on circumstances so ignorantly. I mean many of us who actually work there don't even know what happened. Yet, so many people who never worked there all of a sudden does? I just pray many of you are never faced with this situation...we certainly never thought we would be.
siphoned? so the employees can acces the accounts that held the money to pay the bonus. never heard of any company where emplyees siphon of the money. thats call fraud. lousy journalism.
These bankers face no consequences from their firm or their clients. The taxpayer always bails them out, so they will engage in terrible financial decisions because they are not accountable for the consequences.
I'm sure this woman is immensely talented in journalism or she wouldn't be part of the WION team, but she is not a very good anchor. Please transfer her to an equally paying job behind the cameras.
@@RK-um9tu what all have the whites destroyed? i'll bet you can't come up with a list that will be able to even shadow what all white people have created. whites are the top creators of all. diversity and inclusion is weak and destructive and will continue to wreck all that it touches. looking forward to your examples, thanks for sharing your perspectives.
