It kinda resembles dao pattern. same operations, and connection for data is kept inside dao, not inside controller itself.

how to same project for Template builder application

I'm sure that there is a lot of good information here. But for the love of God, slow down a notch. Create a script and explain why things are implemented a certain way. I usually watch tutorials at 1.5x speed. Yours I have to slow down.
