Thank you Tyler for all the great information on repotting the Stromanthe Tristar. I got a good size one about a month ago from a nursery nearby my home and was afraid to repot it but after your video I felt confident in doing it. They really are stunning plants. All sorts of conflicting information about caring for them on the internet but I find your video the most useful with your obvious success..

Ooooo that’s some gains!!!! I just got one shipped to me in a 4 inch pot last week and it does have a little bit of the brown crispy tips. I have it in a north facing window with a humidifier right below it. Hopefully I’m not giving it too much light

Let the water (used to water it) sit out for a day prior to watering or used distilled water to avoid brown tips

Before you had it potted up I liked the colorful pot better, once you put the plant in the other pot it was obviously the better choice it looked perfect in there.

Nahhhhh not like giving birth!🤣 I wanted to dig a few of my Tristar stromanthe and bring inside but worried it would lose color. They do very well in ground for me in Zone 9B. Those amaryllis still looks amazing. 🔥

Lol!! Lots of bright indirect light needed to keep pinks - but lots of color on mine…
