I just bought a non-rooted cutting. It is not grafted but it is calloused over. It's midsummer and temps in the mid to upper 90F. I planted mine in 25% organic and 75% mineral non-organic substrate. My question is when can I start watering it? It's been in its new pot and substrate for only 3 days now. In my research it says they need full sun at least 6 hrs a day but if it gets too hot in afternoon sun they might need protection from the sun in late day. Can address the watering and is the rest of this info accurate?? Thank You and any advice is appreciated.
@@gtnursery oh ok thank you, I got one recently on a graft with very little roots on it still. I watered a small amount, would you suggest watering infrequently during the fall/winter since it has a few roots or just wait til spring?
