It does matter which way you go. The side marker lights and tail lights light up one at a time for what tire to go to. Which happens to be clockwise.

Did those tires increase the standard cold tire psi of 35 to a higher psi? If so the factory dash monitor will let you know if you are above the max pressure of 44, and how do you reset for a higher pressure. Would like to upgrade my tires to an LT Load range E tire so the cold PSI will be 60 .

They did not, but with the Pulsar LT I am able to go into the computer and set new PSI settings. I am pretty sure that would be all you would need to do.

so you can change the pressure that sets off the tire pressure light?

Not with this tool. This only pairs the Sensors to the computer in the truck. The Pulsar LT allows you to make that change though.

How much did your mpg drop when you added the 35s from factory wheels?

Great question, tbh I haven’t driven it enough yet. I am still under 100 miles on the new set up, and the drastic drop in MPG’s is primarily from leaving the truck running while recording videos in parking lots for the channel. I’ll have to get back to you on this.

How did you know you needed to do this? Did you get some error?. I recently put new wheels and tires on my truck but it still shows psi reading, not sure if they’re accurate but I was wondering if you just have to do it or if it’ll give you a light or error to re learn the sensors .

When you get new sensors this tool allows you to pair/program your new sensors to your truck. If you don’t, you are more likely to see an error, which is a result of the truck not recognizing the new sensors.

Yes, the tool is made to work with all sensor, but this tool specifically is made to pair with GM computers.

They are aftermarket. When I ordered my wheels and tires from Custom Offsets, I threw those in with the order.

My guess would be that something is wrong with the sensor, assuming the others programmed just fine.

@alexandercole8551 I honestly can’t say for sure. I would recommend it, because it sounds like the TPMS sensors are out of sync with the monitoring system.
