Nigerians don't listen to these vampires. Protest until they dissolve the government. How can these people be this cruel, salary sacrifice or not, pls go on with the protest
This is funny. Why is this act of the lower house members not considered an incitement of anger and public unrest. If this is a democracy, then these Members are employees of the people of Nigeria. So, how is it that the employees of the people are so comfortable to donate a portion of their income, paid to them by the people, to support the people, their employers, not to starve to death? We the people are now the charity case? This is a grave insult to the Peoples of Nigeria. It is so true, that the harm Stupid people can cause, is always underestimated. See where we are today. Kai!!!
The law markers should stop receiving salaries and allowances for the next one year! Make their jobs part-time, and let them meet at most 6 times a year!
Reduction of their salaries by 50% should not be for just 3 or 6 months till things die down but should be from henceforth. Ghe monies should be kept in special accounts with the cbn for job creation and developmental projects
What exactly will they use that money for? Tinubu and his gang will syphon it again. Problem is we do not trust APC and Tinubu and they have made it impossible for us to trust them even for 1 bit. But if they will pretend they do not know what the right thing to do is, then they will learn the hard way.

Of what use is the salary grand-standing..for only six months..are they also ready to reduce the budget of the National Assembly and channel such funds into people oriented projects and subsidize the economy..
@@akataprincewill9325 What does that mean? Why do we keep labelling things. Is it that government in the so called Igbo states is perfect? Don't we have Igbo ministers and legislators? If the fear is that this will be hijacked and turned into ethnic fight, then let everyone go home to do the protest. After all that's what igbos were told during election. But everyone who is affected by this poor governance has a right to protest. Igbo are Nigerians as well.
@@stevenwilliams3015 My brother, whether you say Igbos protest or not is irrelevant. Your opinion is your own. You cannot speak for all Igbos, except you are the one providing their needs. Each one has a choice. In fact many Igbos have been protesting in their own way, already for a long time now, Apparently they have not listened to you then, why do you think they will listen to you now?
@@m.noryaa2865 we tried warning the north and west about this clueless man but hausas and yorubas thought we were doing so because we have a candidate from the east, my brother the north and the west need to enjoy the suffering they created, I'm not saying the igbos and not facing challenges but i know we are better off other regions, we will always survive with or without Nigerian government
Don’t you think it’s time to stop the labeling, can’t we just be Nigerians. Sorry for whatever was done to you , although you can’t possibly think you’re the only one who has been hurt or punished in the country. The whole progress movement has to start somehow but it can’t if all wheel aren’t fixed and ready, our so called leaders know of this division and thrive off it, irrespective of the power they have at whatever level they occupy a unified Nigeria can’t be ignored.
Please can we check the national assembly website to see how much you earn because i don't believe you guys still earn the same salary Buhari offered to you.
