@@noah9022doubt it. Xenos don't use weapons, they use their bodies as weapons, so I doubt they'd figure out how shinnoks amulet works. Just seems like they bred all of the races to create powerful hybrids to win

I’ve always gotten a kick out of how the characters in MK, whether friend or foe, just casually make small talk before beating, slashing, ripping each other to death. Can’t think of any other game that does that. Not to the extent of NRS anyway.

I think it was the concept that scared him. In nature, lizards have few predators, and when they do, they adapt really well to the predators they try to evade. So the idea of this species of alien that could see past his camouflage and would hunt him and his kind for trophies would terrify him. Why do you think horror movies like Jaws, the Ghost and the Darkness, or Jurassic Park terrify us?

This is definitely one of favorite intros. Just imagine Johnny inviting Syzoth to his mansion on earth realm to watch a horror movie. Syzoth, who’s a lizard man who fights demons, outworlders and all kinds of monsters but is scared of the Yautja 😂

It could be the concept of a Predator scares him, a creature that goes beyond the stars to hunt and kill for sport and possesses the ability to detect biological signature that bypasses visual trickery? That's sort of a nightmare fuel for the closed-in Zaterrans who naturally has camouflage, especially since their kind has a history of being an object to others (slaves, Predator sees their prey as game).
