Love this - I wish Clone Wars had included some shots like this, though perhaps with the Imperial March toned down quite a bit. I like that this shot is suggestive of Anakin's/Vader perspective on the Galactic Civil War - from his perspective, he's the guy who stayed loyal to the Chancellor, and he's keeping on doing what he was doing in his 20s.

From this, we can conclude that Anakin, as Vader wanted to re-enact this scenario years later in the Empire.

Imagine skywalker doing this during the Glatic Republic, and then many years later, he's doing this again, but as Lord Vader, it would be a great connection from Republic to Empire.

One of the things I'm sad the prequels softretconned was that the Republic used Victory star destroyers during the clone wars. Are Victory Star Destroyers even canon anymore, have they been fully replaced by the Venators?

I absolutely love it, although, (this is just me thinking out loud) it would be cool, to make it mirror the scene in ESB even more, if you used the ETA-2 Interceptor and the V-Wing since they were the starfighter of the Empire before they transitioned to the TIE line.

Ok I Say A Praetor Battle Ship and Two Mandator classes a 1 and 2 Star Dreadnoughts would complete the fleet. They Can match a Single Executor Star Dreadnought well

never understood the logic behind ships all crossing in different directions if they are the same fleet they'd be heading in the same direction, if they were in orbit they'd be stationary and floating in the same direction, if they were passing you wouldn't mix fleets as that's a collision or an exhaust frying an friendly just waiting to happen. still nice visuals, how about more Carracks and Dreadnoughts, those ships predate the Venator and Acclamator and out last them in service also.

Not to long ago I made a new star destroyer to add to the Republic Navy, a logical yet smart sidegrade to the Venator Star Destroyer: The Venator MK2 Lore info: As the Clone Wars unfolded, it was clear for the Republic that the Venator, while it fulfil it's intended role perfectly, was lacking in ship to ship combat capabilities against the most well armed of Separatist cruisers. As a result of this, and due to delays in the development of the Victory-class heavy cruisers, Kuat Drive Yards will comence the development of the Venator MK2 which will provide much needed firepower to the Republic's fleet thanks to it's upgraded arsenal at the cost of fighter carrying capacity, being KDYs answer to the Providence class carrier/destroyer of the CIS
