As for the backstory: After the massive success of 1989, she was heavily cancelled. The hashtag TaylorSwiftIsOverParty was number 1 trending worldwide back in July 2016. How many people have to hate you for that to happen? People swarmed over her Instagram and Twitter and flooded her posts with snake emojis. That is one of the most difficult and trying times to be a swiftie. But we stood behind her, defended her, and remained on her side until she came back. Despite the truth coming out in 2020, the damage has been done and we already have suffered an insurmountable grief in hell for four years. Indeed. I will never get tired of saying *reputation* is the comeback of the century. Nothing can convince me otherwise. The full album rollout is the definition of epicness itself. From the social media blackout, to the drop of LWYMMD lyric video, as well as the premiere of the most epic music video ever conceived in the history of mankind during MTV VMAs 2017 that Katy hosted. She even embraced the snake motif that people used to bully her. As well as the epic album rollout from August 23, 2017 to November 10, 2017 despite the _there is no explanation, there will just be reputation_ campaign. Despite critics saying that *reputation* isn't a comeback album since the preceding album, 1989, was her most successful (before 1989 Taylor's Version was released), considering the cancellation and the hardships we went through, *reputation* will be our comeback album, and it is undeniably the comeback of the century. Since she was cancelled before, predictions say that the *reputation stadium tour* in 2018 is too ambitious (as it is an all stadium tour) and she will be playing in near-empty stadiums. Jokes on them since the *reputation stadium tour* was the most successful North American tour (until it was overtaken by The Eras Tour). Now that people are finally awake and are able to appreciate her brilliance, now is the best and happiest time to be a swifty. I hope we stay happy for a long time.

This is such a top tier album for me because the lyrics and the production are so in sync with how the lyrics are supposed to make you feel/how Taylor felt when she was going through it. She mentioned that she always wants to be able to take a song & have it be tripped back down acoustically, despite whatever production was added to it which I sooo much appreciate. A 10/10 no skip album.
I think Reputation has got one of the best love songs ever written and I thank Joe for being there for taylor during the hardest times of her life. As much as I'm so excited for Reputation TV, I still wonder how Taylor's gonna re-record the songs without thinking of Joe
So much of this album is a love letter to Joe and it really reminds us that, for awhile, he was exactly who and what she needed. I love this album and I cannot wait for the vault tracks.
New Year’s Day hits different for me now. My mom passed in May this year and she had this incredible huge laugh. It was embarrassing as a kid. What I’d give to hear it one more time. I’d recognize it anywhere ❤️❤️
i think the songs on this album benefit from being listened to all together because of how the themes & stories intertwine. once you’ve listened to the album in whole a few times the songs themselves all become stronger when listened to on their own!! so it makes sense that y’all didn’t revisit many of the one-off songs you reacted to from rep the first time around & had better appreciations for them this time!! great reaction, thanks yall 🫶🏼

Guys u have no idea how much i cried when reputation was released after all the backlash, media critics, hates and world cancelling she's been thru this album proves she can still reign. Its been so hard for Swifties as well during that time because left and right we defended TS. Then years later the truth came out Taylor Swift never lied. 😭

When this album came out I was not ready for the sound. I honestly didn’t like Look What You Made Me Do, at the time I didn’t know the beef going on, and she deleted everything on her Twitter and posted that music video and I was SO confused. Then I revisited while watching the Stadium Tour on Netflix when that came out and I was in LOVE. I really missed out not going to see it live.
You should react to the eras concert "Don't blame me + look what you made me do" the choreography is amazing. It is the most dramatic performance in eras tour.
