I've used it a bit myself. You basically are forced to use Dash Juice with Aerial Bow because usually by the time you mount the monster, you ran your stamina down to zero and you fail the mount. The flat 20% damage boost to aerial attacks with the armor skill is great, but doesn't quite make up for the bad hitzone hits.
Aerial Bow can be risky, but it is a lot of fun. (In my opinion anyways.) Paired with the right skills, it can devastate your target quickly. Nice hunt.
Thanks! So you never play with the c-stick or the circle pad pro when hunting on 3DS? I always thought you needed to use them to hunt well, but I'll be relieved to know if you don't because I really do find using the c-stick uncomfortable.
I’ve been using the c-stick the only problem I have with it is looking down, every other direction works fine. I personally can’t stand it on touchscreen
mmmh did i just saw this wrong or is there some secret behind the aerial shot. Because its supposed to be ur lvl 2 charge so spread for teo bow but for me it looked like it were normal shots as well, so is there some secret to get them higher or am i just wrong
The arrows hit the kirin before you could even see them. Spread arrows and heavy arrows are perfect for aerial bow, since both of them are close range arrows and will almost always land a critical hit on the second arrow
what bow type control scheme is this 2 or 1? and how do you get the camera to go like that when you're in the air to lock on the monster/ is it just the lock function cause I didn't see the target appear.
Dominic Petrillo That run was screwed anyway, took me longer than 4 minutes to kill Jho so I just went yolo lol. That being said, I do pull that stuff fairly often, if you check out my info video on the 1 year anniversary at twitch, you'll find lots of similar stuff (and bloopers :p)
Not the best style of the weapon, on a really small and inadapted target. Serms that your followers dont want you to have fun ahahah. Otherwise, exellent job
CantaPerMe Ahaha i'm sure you did great. Honestly I have so much respect for your determination and love for the games. I did some runs back in 3U and early 4U, and was seen as the best bow player in France, even in Europe sometimes. But i get discouraged and loose my motivation quickly. But seeing you so much active and getting better and better with the time amaze me. Keep going on !
Kara Best Bow player in France? Europe? Not doubting your skills or anything, but there will always be someone better than yourself. Surely your name would have traveled across the seas and be heard in the US or Japan, we all would have known who you were and what you were about.
Its was in Europe and back in 3U early 4U, so I'm sure today a lot of people are way better than me. And I'm sure back at the time they were better people than me too. But people considered me like that. (and still my name ws known by some people in Japan, but it wasnt a big deal)
You're missing the point. Canta is so good that the monsters suffer from PTSD episodes upon seeing him unless he's nerfed. To achieve this, we intentionally must request that he hunt with the shittiest circumstances possible.
Makez 190 ^^^^this, especially MH games are not really a competitive game to find out who's the fastest or not, well, there are people who make it as a competitive like in MH festa, but point of the game is that we kill monsters, skin them and make it as armor set, and have fun :3
well, no evasion +3 in Gen/X actually lol. even without any evasion skill you can still jumped of things. but yeah imo the "counter" move for aerial bow is not as strong as the other
i tried it once but maybe i used the wrong bow too (astalos, which has pierce on lv 2 charge iirc lol) but yeah i think positioning is also an important aspect for aerial bow
nahhh So sad to see MH now becoming a joke.How can you shoot an arrow while jumping in real life? LOL. Thats why I still love old MH games, more simple and closer to being a realistic monster hunting.
Nekomancer no monster hunter was realistic at all. if you wanna play the old ones keep playing the old ones. the new games made much needed improvements and made the game far more fun.
Poob Master Why do people whine saying MHW is bad? No its not literally all the basics and more are there. Weapon designs are a joke except a few in each difficulty isn't even that big of an issue because logically you should know why It's easier. You can move aim and look around smooth which hasn't been the case in forever but people like to exaggerate when even canta has fainted in mhw quite a few times. Their moves while obvious, doesn't brand It as bad when they're trying to expand their fanbase since they finally went back to PlayStation. It's gorgeous and packed with typical Monster Hunter glory. Grinding is still there to the only thing that's missing was more common flashy weapons and tankish controls and the old type of bow aiming which I don't like anyway. Generations got overly complicated with all the arts but with time learning that's fun to and MHW had a middle of the road and approach with deep enough combat and flashy moves. Hunting Horn I hear needed a buff but recently got one. Should be a little faster still I hear but whatever. Literally every weapon is still viable and speed runners prove this... Well speed runners like Canta not the CB spamming guys. I'm a CB main and can admit using it only for fast times would get stale for viewers I've tried every single weapon except HH and Heavy Bowgun but that's similar to LBG anyway so I'm not missing much there. My point being sure slightly easier in large part thanks to smooth gameplay and a bit for us Newbies but It's not bad at all. Only elitist think that. Canta and NCH, Weissgaming, Projared, Apex, and quite a few other High level vets all love it. It's not fair to that It's bad its personal opinion or overreacting to ease of gameplay. By now everyone done with HR testing all weapons and farming for streamstones wants more challenge and that's where adding new monsters comes in which they wouldn't have done much of they said WITHOUT a good reception. It's a good thing the first MH on PS4 cared about both players.
