Dude I remember it came out that ReQuest took the silver medal cuz HHI wouldn’t allow a clean sweep that year and they didn’t want the little ones to miss out of a gold. Absolute queens 👑
Funny how judges thought it will be "unfair" if all palace crews won gold medal this year.What is unfair in being the best and getting what you deserve? This is probably why Request doesnt compete anymore here... Imagine their sets 2012,2013,2014,2015,2016 and soon 2017 , world would be blessed to death!!
I heard The royal family crews in each division won gold except request. That is because the people running the show thought it was unfair that they were to win every category and thus request volunteered to give up there 1st place so the young ones didn't have to. Even though they were defending champs and even though haters from the year before thought they didn't deserve it because of the fall and there style wasn't "hip hop." So proud of where the girls are now. Kids these days will never know the significance of the original request girls.
I can't stop watching this performance & their HHI 2010 performance =) Love the fact that these girls are so diverse: dance hall, krumpin', poppin', whackin', vogue and REAL CHOREOGRAPHY. They always bring something fresh! Nothing but love for these girls!
i love how they represented NZ. and also how they kind of honored Street Kingdom with the krumping in the beginning. This really shows how ABDC really brought them really close to be able to do this :D
I never get tired of watching this set! These girls worked so well together, like no other crew that I have ever seen. They are always in sync and do a fantastic job together. Very glad that they are all doing well, with all the projects that they are currently involved in. I am a huge fan of their work at HHI, at The Palace Dance Studio and also outside of these venues. Parris is an exceptionally talented young lady and never ceases to amaze me! Good luck to all of you ladies, in all of your future endeavours! #CrownsUp
they were actually set for the gold medal but all the other younger groups from their company (that same year) were getting gold medals, so the judges thought it would be unfair if all the palace dance crews got gold. so instead of having their younger groups having their gold medals taken away RQ volunteered to give up their own gold medals for silver.
not an expert of hip hop dance just know what i like. seen the hype so watched both plague and request. liked bits of both performances but request is most certainly my favourite
@Xxryoma555xX They where actually dancing to a tight eyez track. They gave a shout out to Street Kingdom (the krump crew from abdc). They became good friends after the show.
I think they opened this piece with a krump section because what happened earlier in the year. They got eliminated from ABDC and the group that advanced was Street Kingdom, a krump group. I believe it was a tribute to them. At 0:39 you can even see Ngavine do Street Kingdom’s “sign” (what they always did on ABDC). There’s also a really old video of ReQuest performing with Street Kingdom. It’s pretty awesome! Look up StreetQuest @ collaboration 2011 if you’re interested 😉
MLJS_STV ....yes you’re right, seen their collaboration with Street Kingdom, still think Request did a hella great job krumping, should have been gold...anyways this was the last time Request as a group performed at HHI...

This is history in the making! The day that Parris/ReQuest drop-kicked Krumping over the naysayers and into the HHI limelight! Next year they'll all be using it in their sets, but this'll be the only time you'll see it going for so long. Sign of a choreographer loving and always pushing her craft. RESPECT!!

Their krumping was soooo clean and to me the best part in the whole dance..!! They trully danced krumping... ( better than SK ) it's just my oppinion so don't hate..!! GOOD JOB LADIES !
Honestly Whoever doesnt like thier krump set is whck. ALL OFTHEIR PERFORMANE WAS AMAZING!!!!! they just showed that they can bring different styles and still murder the stage! The Choreography was so clean to! Big Ups for that! :)
This was the year Parris and her dance groups took all sections except this Adult section which they got a silver…now I’ve watched the winning group and not even close to this performance, rumour has it that HHI didn’t want Parris to take a clean sweep of the Compedition….sadly this was Request last performance at HHI…

@@manunugirl7211 they were supposed to get gold but then their junior division were gonna get their gold medals taken away so the rq crew got their medals tooken away instead. not creating this its true look it up the judges said it would be unfair for the palace to win all of the divisions
@@shaleetza8712 I know the story and I think it’s a stupid reason HHI deprived Request of a gold medal cos of that, it’s unfair, shows Compedition was rigged…that was the last year Request performed as a group at HHI…

Last time Request Dance Crew performed at HHI....they did blend into the Royal Family Mega Crew...most of these original dancers are not here anymore....from here Request went onto bigger things...ABDC season 6, Justin Bieber Sorry mv, MAMA2015, Hit The Floor, CL Bitches, Ciara Level Up and heaps more...I still love this routine and watch them all the time...I feel they did the best Krump dance, better than the originals...
I'm from America and I voted for them when they were on ABDC. I respect this crew so much because they are good people, as well as awesome dancers. They show WAY more diversity than all other crews. I'm sure DTrix, Lil Mamma, and JC as well as Tight Eyez have all shit their pants and they are regretting eliminating them off ABDC so early!
I miss dis request, especially with sammy nd ninie nd also wen parris had her hair like in 2010 performance, i wish u didnt do that, i think dats what hurt her chances in abdc, aswel as da first episode, but dey were robbed man, im over it, but i actually cryed, becuz i wanted america nd other people see what i saw in dese girls wen i first saw there hhi 2010 performance, i wish she stayed that route but i think da abdc change it for her, nd it went dee other way nd more boyish nd i wished she kept it girly gangster, but its still awesum.
@VinnieWai i couldnt agree more. why does everyone have to start comparing instead of just enjoying the damn vid. everyone has their favourite groups so go appreciate your favourite group on THEIR dance vids instead of gracing us with your hate cos you know you're only gonna get bounced by the request fans lol .
@goomloom123 mhm well when we competed for hhi they said if you loose any costume like hat, or any other accesioures then you lose points. idk if request did , but they destroyed it anyways so ..
request missed the first because of putting the hats on the stage. these are the hhi rules. what a shame! they RULE! specially the girl with the red hair ^^
I know that ReQuest members have come and gone during the past four years but this grouping to me is the best and most memorable ReQuest grouping and i will never forget these members. The big eight. These eight members will always be ingrained in me as one a handful of great dancers of my time.

@o0MagicConchShell0o and when they do world hiphop most veiws competition theyl get the gold but this was judged by a panel of dance pioneers legends nd super stars they have a criteria and plague won fair and square nd request are a fantastic group as are plague but for whatever reason plague won shouldnt you be celebrating that they got 2nd place over so many great crews rather than hating... plus for me personally plague came with more 'hiphop' i.e locking popping breaking funk juss sayin
@CommentFanatic Have you seen Poreotics videos? Watch ReQuest videos then watch Poreotics in ABDC compilation. You people really don't get what I'm saying when I said views and music videos nor read every single comment I made before replying like I previously said. Despite Poreotics ticking a lot and maybe why they lost. Poreotics have far better execution. If you're saying ReQuest is better simply because they're New Zealand then you're being close minded and bias. I am from NZ btw.

Is this not an expression? just because Plague won doesn't make them better, ReQuest hit 10 times as hard and RQ's choreo is 1000 times better. I gave plague the benefit of the doubt but they were lack luster. Sorry. no shade.
Name any other crew or group that has the skill or nerve to bring Krump & Vogue together in 1 routine thats why the Royal family Owns!! it wasn't murder, IT WAS A MASSACRE!!

If your sending out props to Plague, thats great but do it on their page...I'm sure they'd appreciate it...Also when you're asked to be on the judging panel for the Hip Hop Internationals in 2012, I'm sure your professional opinion will be taken into consideration...
