I would strongly recommend upgrading the piston and taper plate at the very least if upgraded to faster moter..a steel rack piston..I have the CQB Hony badger..it's best rifle I've owned at entry level price.. definitely could use a better bucking..other than that great gun..so far in first game I've gotten plenty kills with it.. highly recommend to buy this
I heard that Falcon MOSFET have issues with faster motors. I read somewhere that It needs to switch autobrake off but Falcon probably don't have this option right?
Hiya. I've not heard any issues with faster motors, it's to do with brushless motors, all of the current MOSFETs seem to have issues. You need to disable the active break on the MOSFET (as the brushless motors have it built in) as the two don't play nice together. I can't remember off the top of my head if it's an option in the falcon, I would have thought it was, but can't be sure. Pheas
Hiya. Depends on what you are looking for... Lower tpa motors spin faster over all, but take longer to get to top speed, higher TPa motors tend to spin up to speed faster (better for snappy single shots) but not as high top speeds l... So it's a trade off. Id look for the XT motors with fans in them, they are excellent . Pheas
Please help me cause I'm dumb and afraid to destroy my gears. So if I would change the motor, I would have to put it backwards? Like, all my aeg's the positive side of the motor is facing foward but this one it is facing backwards
Hello! The rotation of the motor has to match the wiring and where it is. So if the red wire should connect at the front of the grip, then the red motor terminal should be at the front for the red wire. When you take the old motor out, put the new one in exactly the same orientation and wiring etc. Pheas
Hiya. If you are using the factory spring (around 400fps) I would got for a high tpa high torque motor for the faster semi response and uplift (not as much as high speed) in rate of fire. Pheas
Hey Pheas Airsoft, I was wondering about what batteries work best with this gun and what batteries fit. Im sure a lot of people would like to know this as the stock design is different from a of them out thre. Thanks, Rob
Hiya! They are going to have to be stick type lipos, short ones to fit in there, not an awful lot of room in there unfortunately! One of my discord users uses this one: www.taiwangun.com/lipo-11-1v/battery-li-po-1450mah-11-1v-20c-t-connect-ipower?from=listing&campaign-id=19 and says it fits perfect. Pheas
Hello! Yes, this should pretty much work for any of the Double Eagle models, if you have one with the AR style stock instead of this tanker style, here is a link to that one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UGZxzwuqDIg.html Pheas
@@zabduhamel6745 i am talking about throwing them on the gun when ia m transporting or storing them and taking them off at games .so I want them to be as bright as possible
Hiya. DE are getting better as a brand and this gun proves how far they have come. They used to be known for cheap (and not always very good) shotguns. But this is a nice piece of kit. They sell for just over £100 on Taiwan gun. Hope that helps! Pheas
Hi Pheas! maybe you could help me ... I soon am getting a tuned DE and would like to install a different motor myself but i don’t know which one would fit good and also don’t understand what type O axis or type D axis … as it is for example in Taiwangun, mean? or could you maybe recommend any specific brands or motors that would fit into the DE? I would be happy about your help, greetings from Austria ✌🏼🇦🇹 - you have very interesting and informative videos, like your content :)
Hello! Glad you are liking the videos I am making! The motors... alot of it will come down to personal preference and budget and what you want out of the gun. If you want HIGH RATE OF FIRE, then you are better off with a high speed motor (however if your FPS is high then the motor might not be well suited) If you wanted snappy single shot then you need a high torque motor to complete a shot faster. So Its then a case of what will your budget allow and choosing from there. With the Axel D or O its how the little gear on top of the motor attaches. They tell you so you know which you are getting . If you look at the top of the gear it will be shaped like a D or and O. I am not big into the differences between the axels, so have no idea if one is better than the other. ASG motors are generally regarded as being good! Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft thank you for the information! So do you think the best idea would be to take out the stock motor and see which axis and what dimensions it has and then look for a similar one?
@@Rian4168. I believe I have seen them on Ali Express or somewhere similar. But generally high speed motors are easily available from lots of different brands. My previous go to high speed motor was the G&P m120 motor (and they go higher) if you have a HIGH fps build though a high speed might not be the best choice. Pheas
Hiya. Unfortunately due to the lockdown still being in place in the UK I haven't been able to fire this properly. But everything else about it is great. Seems to be a very well thought out and designed piece of kit! From little snippets I am seeing online it seems to fire pretty well too! Pheas
