hey, i'm getting interested in skyrim again after multiple years and trying out wildander, wich contains requiem, i started looking for a build to make and came across a reddit post you did like 8 years ago (that's how i found your YT channel) called "Theocrafting the Ultimate Atronach mage", going altmer and 95% absorb sounds dope so i might going this route but you're post is 8 years old and i was wondering if it still worked this way ? good shit, thx !
I'm sadly not that familiar with regular Requiem anymore. I'm playing with 3tweaks/ftweaks for a while now which rebalances a lot of Requiem values. Wildlander does not use these mods though. But if I recall the magic effect boost from perks have been fixed. So while getting that high spell absorb in base Requiem might not be possible, the altmer-atronach build is still pretty strong. Invest into elemental resistance to offset the magical weakness. Couple that with the 50% spell absorb from Atronach and you've got a nice magic defense. You also have a big magicka pool that you can regen with potions, and have really good burst potential with the Highborn ability.
@@TheKiskoller Yeah i'm not commiting in a build that wont work anyways right ? thank alot mate ! With The alteration "magical absorption" perk i have 80% spell absorb chances wich is plenty enough !
