This film Requiem for a dream should be part of every schools education system on the dangers of drugs. This was so sad but true story of people with no hope for life. It doesn’t have to be like this.
Esp for someone who lived it. I watched it 2 weeks after getting out of the hospital after being there for 3 weeks, having 3 surgeries, and originally being told by the ER doctor that I was going to be an amputee the next day because of a bad batch that I intravenously Injected which had caused cellulitis and ultimately gangrene. Fortunately, I had an amazing surgeon who saved my arm, but I have a huge scar that required 2 skin grafts and starts right above the palm of my.hand all the way to 2 inches above the crease in my arm
This was nearly 12 years ago when I was 24 and unfortunately I just found out that my ex boyfriend who I had been with from age 19-26 overdosed in December of 2022 & no one told me. I had to find out from Facebook nearly 6 months later. I wonder if the family blames me 😢
This is from the movie Requiem for a Dream. The score was done by Clint Mansell and this was performed by the Kronos Quartet for the movie soundtrack. Just giving the proper credit
I too get frustrated when i see people write zimmers name to every symphony as if they don't know any other musician .Clint mansell should get the apprecition he deserves. I love zimmer too
for those who had a past with hard drugs, can you confirm to me that every time you listen this music you are uncomfortable because of the memories of those time you were in withdrawal?
One of those RAW films that will stay with you forever! NOT for the faint of heart, but worth the watch! Crash is another movie that comes to mind. Requiem for some soul searching introspection about how you treat yourself. Crash for soul searching introspection on how you treat others. I recommend watching both at least once a year!
Requiem for a dream is a very emotional and epic film soundtrack by Clint Mansell at 00's . I think the performance is from the Hanz Zimmer Orchestra. The track is named '' Lux Aeterna '' . By the way , very epic.
@@satyasaikumarrasabattula1479 It does !!!.. no doubt ! Great and epic soundtrack man ... I love that soundtrack ! Clint is very brilliant ! Is in my category with Jarne Tiersen , Collin Towns , Thomas Bangalter , Bennett Salvay !! Great composers too!!
Hello fellow human, this is most true, if humanity is to survive our puppet masters then we must unite under such concepts, greetings from the uk, not all of the west believes the propaganda of our main stream media. Per Aspera Ad Astra.
Indeed! Why should we even try to tame the Earth? In all its majesty and glory, its rage and violence! Should we not tame ourselves first? So that we can immerse ourselves in the sublime power of Earth.
This such a great sound track from the best movie about drug use ever made. It starts out bad for everyone, gets much worse and then it’s over. Much more true to life than most movies about drugs.
Not Zimmer. This is an extended version of piece called Requiem for a Tower, which is an orchestrated version (not by Zimmer) from a piece called Lux Aeterna (Latin for "eternal light") by Clint Mansell for the movie Requiem for a Dream where it was performed by the Kronos Quartet. This orchestrated version was used for a trailer of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (and that wasn't Zimmer either).
Requiem for a Dream is one of those movies that, while incredibly well done, you regret watching bc it's so upsetting, kinda like City of God, I couldn't even finish that one
I remember watching a kobe video when I was a kid called “Greatness Personified”, and this song was one of the tracks used. Never forgot it til this day. Video got removed but the track will never be lost.
FANTASTIC MASTER PIECE ! THERE IS A STORM COMING AN EMOTIONAL ONE STARTING WITH A GENTLE BREEZE QUICKLY ESCALATING INTO GALACTIC SCALE ! I WANT MORE OF IT ... AND LET ETERNITY JUDGE ME FOR IT !!
So much fire, 🔥❤️🔥🔥 cosmic energy, pain, so many different emotions, feelings. Thoughts excite .... turns the soul inside out. I can listen to this Mozart masterpiece for hours! 🎼🎵🎶 Столько огня,🔥❤️🔥🔥 энергии космоса, боли, столько разных эмоций,чувств. Мысли будоражит....выворачивает душу на изнанку. Часами могу слушать это шедевр Моцарта! 🎼🎵🎶
Pictures and music go very well together. She explained exactly what the music wanted to convey. that God rules everything with her divine light. Thanks..
Requiem for a Dream. Performed by Hans Zimmer’s Orchestra. The video photography is fantastically unreal almt. They’re amazing, as is the music to replicate the movie. Absolutely awesome but a little bit scary in my opinion. A wonderful piece of music beautifully performed by Hans Zimmer. Excitingly overwhelming.
Actually, Hans Zimmer did not make do this, it was Corner Stone Cues that made this. Although I do kinda agree with the "Hans Zimmer" In the title tho, it does sound like Hans Zimmer a lot.
This is definitely a cover. I listened to the original countless of times, and believe me, it's different. Original is called "Lux Aeterna", it was composed by Clint Mansell and performed by the Kronos Quartet. This version tho sounds a lot bigger and a lot fuller. This is a real orchestra performing the piece. And if I can believe the YT's Content ID identifying the music as "Requiem for a Tower", by Daniel J. Nielsen (as you may see when you click on "Show More" under the video description), then the claim by some people down in the comments is actually correct.
