Drowning is the number one cause of death in children under four, infants as young as 7 months can be taught lifesaving techniques having them roll on there back too keep there faces above water, as soon as a infant and craw they can be taught to swim
❤ Aww little Kelly was such a precious little girl. So thrilled she🌹 survived and with no brain damage. ❤ 🌹 ❤ I wonder how she is doing in adult years!!
I read lots of comments about parents not keeping eye on Kelly but don't realize that being a parent is hard. Let me remind you that kids are handful 24/7 and it's hard to supervise them daily basis. I'm an uncle and I have lots of handful nieces and nephews that I have to tell them no don't do that, no don't do this and it's not that easy. Being a grownup is not that easy if you have a kid in your life. Think twice before saying something that might come and bite yo butt
Those of you who are condemning the parents for not watching the kids, the father admitted himself that it was "stupidity" that it happened in the first place; fortunately for them, Kelly was okay but not everyone in this situation is that lucky. Imagine how horrible they must have felt when they realized that the simple mistake of not locking the gate lead to this. At the same time, little kids can get themselves into all kinds of situations no matter how closely they are being watched, you just have to turn your back for a few seconds and anything can happen. I think it's good that Kelly's family shared their story because it serves as a warning to what can happen.
These parents sound like they are from Liverpool in England since they have Scouse British accents. The dad sounds just like one of The Beatles who were also from Liverpool. The poor little girl, glad she was okay in the end. I know the adults got distracted with their yard work they were doing, but they really should have been keeping a close eye on the girls. Especially since they were near their swimming pool. Hopefully they learned a good lesson from all this.
Yes they could just lock the gate and begin working but they just started working and forgot about the gate. People are forgetful sometimes so give them some breaks.
was she born in 1988?,thats the year i was born i really hope she's doing and felling a lot Better these days my prayers go out to her and to your entire Family GodBless,10:14
I have seen white fire trucks, they are very odd looking. They not very common from what I have seen. Their reasoning suppose to be that they more visible at night time.
its funny kids back than are adults and bitch about people raising kids today and this show proves that if you not watching your child carefully... things can change way to quick. now not all of this happens to be parents/chidl fault some are just freak accidents
actually a baby swim's the whole nine month's it is i the wound in a way and some women choose water birth and a lot of women are choosing to start their babies in swimming lesson's at 2 and 3 week's old
The parents admitted they made a mistake in not being as attentive as they should have been but unfortunately, little kids can get themselves in all kinds of dangerous situations, no matter closely they are being watched. I'm sure Kelly's parents must have felt enormous guilt for what happened.
When doing the dramatization they should wet their hair at least, as it is possible that they take it out of a pool with dry clothes and hair, my second point where there is a pool there are basic safety rules especially if there are children, they must have enclosure to avoid what what happened
