I remember when I'd watch his channel a decade ago to figure out what I wanted to play at locals. What a time line to have my decklist on Lithium's channel now.
Kashtira could have normal summoned ash, make baronne, summon scareclaw kashtira by banishing fenrir, activate theosis summon unicorn search birth, effect birth to special summon and make ariseheart.
Or even after both handtraps were used, he could have still summoned Scareclaw Kash by banishing Theosis and making Ariseheart in 4 summons instead of Shangri-Ira pass
In the tear game you could've chained alert to the orange light to search for air lifter because having hydrant on field allows to search any R-ACE monster from the deck and that's "full combo" right there if you grab emergency with the Air Lifter.
Or the Tear player could've just used Herald on Turbulence, Which S:P will only dodge the destruction but Not the negate, So yeah Rescue-ACE was cornered either way
@@_Sasuke_99 I mean that's not really that big of a misplay, you can't guarantee that the RACE player won't make apollousa instead, cause full powerIshTear is not really known for playing handtraps outside of herald and bystials. So hitting hydrant is a completely valid option, meanwhile not chaining alert to orange light is baffling and only shows that Lithium is not as familiar with the deck which is fair.
Ah... Turbulance giving the multirole/spellbook of jugment vibes. For the next challenger i would suggest some challengers from upper bracket, so we can see both sides represented as the last edition 🤞🏻.
Fiendsmith Snake Eyes would get destroyed by Tear. Imo the only deck that can contend with Tear is full power Kash and even then that would only be if they go first and draw shifter
Ishizu tear completely shits on that deck. Everything Ishizu does is a hard counter and it plays on turn zero. The shufflers completely demolish the graveyard of SE and they need that to play.
I’m sorry did no one else see the huge miss play he made against ishizu tear? Dude could have had a really ok chance against it. He could have chained alert to orange light instead of econ, and added airlifter. Lifter grab emergency, emergency summon turb, set 4, ALONG with the econ, and pass. thats so many interactions.
@@emmastar5332 Or the Tear player could've just used Herald on Turbulence, Which S:P will only dodge the destruction but Not the negate, So yeah Rescue-ACE was cornered either way
the poplar build is definitively a lot more powerful. You basicially gain Bonfire as an extender aswell as starter. Also Promethian Princess is an insane Powerboost. I think its Fine to showcase this version but it feels a bit weird and kinda creates a similar situation to danger Tear compared to ishizu Tear (Although overall scaled down of course)
@@Lithium2300 yeah the problem was that the pure Snake eye version just outperformed all Hybrid Builds in the TCG. So Basicially the better version never saw the same amount of competitive success as the later stronger builds due an overall powercreep. Hence i think its very valid for the purpose of the CBLC to feature Santolis list. It just feels a bit weird when seeing Rescue asce now.
Personally of all the FTK decks, the Monarch Magical Explosion 2016 I think is worthy of trying to be a Challenger deck from the FTK's out there. But of the non-FTK decks, I nominate Purrely OCG
nruh snake eyes was now so dominant for so long, i completely forgot that diabelstar pacakge was out before and s:p also and typhon also? everything since diabelstar to now just feels like 1 mushy pile
C1 hydrant, c2 orange light. You should have gone c3 alert to add airlifter, so you can normal airlifter and add emergency so you can get access to turb and set 4. The 4 set, along with econ should have been enough to force a win, if not an extremely closer game. People saying “I’m losing to ishizu test is a given” but dude could have played it so much better that he could have not lost.
Or the Tear player could've just used Herald on Turbulence, Which S:P will only dodge the destruction but Not the negate, So yeah Rescue-ACE was cornered either way
@@_Sasuke_99 That also depends on what hydrant wanted to add. There are def lines that let you play around both the orange light and the shuffler in gy, it just depends on how both people play it. In this situation tho, when he got hit with orange light he could have still made plays that would have not screwed him over. If hydrant adds air lifter and he summoned it to add emergency, he can use emergency to summon turb. Then when he uses turb c1 c2 will be orange light, and he can c3 econ to take the havinis. Then he can alert add preventer and, and he has enough bodies to do the firewall combo. But that line is also dependent on if tear uses the shuffler to stop the draw, or holds it for when the op tries to go for firewall plays but if you know he is holding it, for you to do firewall plays. but if you know your opp has two cards in hand, and could draw into a card that lets you combo idk why you would hold it for if they can play and instead just stop them from trying to get there, when only 3 cards make it so you can.
@@emmastar5332 I mean you do the Firewall combo that loses to the shuffler on the link 2 that revives itself back, And you still missed out on resolving Turbulence, So that's a win-win situation for Tear, No ? Even if you choose to keep your monsters on field and Not do the Firewall combo, You will only really have a book of moon at best tbh (E-Con too I guess but that's still Not enough)
I see you changed your mindset about little knight being banned worthy. I remember saying that its ban worthy and might get banned someday when you were discussing about it a few weeks after its release. Of course i was told by everyone that i didnt know what im talking about and you did say its a super good card but not ban worthy back then. Glad you came around and see how broken it is.
Those opinions must have been limited to the social spaces that you frequent online or irl. I saw plenty of people on various channels who still think little knight should or could be banned one day . That duel against d link showed how powerful it can be going second, which is what some say it would be reduced to if ip is banned. Even so, being able to reduce the impact of nib and board breakers is really powerful in itself
@chewdoom8415 it was on another lithium video where he was using little knight in his duels. Forgot what deck he was showcasing but he also talked about the banlist coming up then.
@@kookou13 Ah. That makes sense. I have seen people be overwhelmed by the majority on this channel on a few occasions, and that is likely to happen on some others as well. My apologies.
What was the runick spright player doing. Why did they try to smashers instead of just letting it resolve negated. There was no point to smashers then because searching a runick card wouldn't do anything. It was better to just let it resolve, lava golem the board, then activate starter for blue to search red and play from there What is that kash player doing. Why did they not normal ash make baronne What was RAce doing vs ishtear. It could have done more. Yea this one wasnt as pretty to watch due to the misplays.
Rescue-ACE isn't the only one who misplayed. Herald should've been kept for Turbulence, And the shuffler would stop the trap from getting recycled by Emergency, Searched by Air Lifter, So it's honestly evened out. Both misplayed, And if both didn't, Rescue-ACE still wouldn't have won either way
@@_Sasuke_99 someone explained how they could've possibly played through orange light as well But it should've definitely been saved, I think the reason it wasn't is becuse you only had targeted monster negation in AGOV, so imprem/veiler, and using those on hydrant was better because sp could be made with turbulence to dodge those, so lith is probably used to playing that way But orange light's negation can't be dodged so it can be used whenever
@@andrejv.2834 Yes, Orange light would've made it so that the Rescue-ACE player never gets the set 4 no matter what happens, And they didn't have enough monsters (4 monsters) for the Firewall combo, So it would've been Preventer, Hydrant plus Econ and that's it. Tear could very easily win through that so yeah
Having no knowledge of Rescue Ace, having stopped actively olaying a few years before they dropped, this deck looks disgusting. And not the "really cool" kind of disgusting, more like a sort of "I want to beat you up for playing this" kind of disgusting
I've basically played it non-stop for the last 8 months, yeah it is kinda just that gross. Pretty much every match up I've struggled with I've been able to deal with by just finding better lines into the other deck, and I think the dumbest thing is that it also is top tier into playing into a board as well. Turb is way too strong for how easy it is to resolve.
@@maple1234567890321 After having played so much in this format, I don't even know if handtraps are enough at this point. They're still better than board breakers. That's what I confirmed at least
It's even worse now with Fiendsmith coming in. Wait until Snake-Eyes gets rekt, Also Fiendsmith alongside Rescue-ACE to some extent at least. Fiendsmith should be limited to 1, Original Sinful Spoils or Poplar (Maybe both) should get banned, Promethean Princess should get banned, Flameberg should at least be limited to 1 if Not banned, And a lot more things should also be considered, So yeah until then, YGO isn't in it's best era right now
