When we were growing up in up State NY we played in the woods across the road from where we lived. There was a red fox that would watch us. It didn't bother us, we didn't bother it.

"Rescue" comes in many forms you know. Buying a fox from a fur farm is just as much a rescue as busting in there and stealing the foxes would be. These animals are not suffering, not in the slightest, they are happy and healthy. They were suffering at one point in time but now, because they were given care and time they are not anymore. Animals just like humans can recover from injuries, trauma, disease etc. and deserves the chance to do so. Death is one way out of suffering, but far from the only way. The foxes are still kept in captivity sure and that sucks, but these foxes have been raised in captivity and would not do well in the wild. The videos may be for cloutfarming but that's a cynical way to look at it. I see it more as raising awareness and bringing some joy to people. "Do your research" you say. Well I did and I can find nothing to support your claims. I'm sure saveAfox has stepped in it at some point, to ere is human after all, but it can't have been too bad as I can't find anything

@@calisongbird a quick google search of "is saveafox bad" will bring you to a google drive folder of some pretty damning evidence. owner/employees admitting to buying foxes from fur farms (thus helping those awful places profit), a fox escaping and them buying a LOOKALIKE and lying about finding the original, plus a lot of employees saying that the owner pockets the majority of donations.
@e-w-4174Wow. We had a cat just like that literally "Mr. Stubbs". I can't remember how he lost the tail (born like that maybe?) but eventually we gave him away because of the other cats didn't treat him very well.
@@dooby1445I mean, humans have really crap self regulation as well, it gets worse when healthy ones are discouraged for “being a distraction.” (I’m speaking as an autistic person who was told my leg bouncing, hand flapping, and other such fidgeting was such.) Birds will over-preen their feathers, and so do humans with their hair (TTM). We have very similar distress symptoms to animals, just different in how we can execute them (a human has a natural mental block that keeps them from biting off their own limbs, animals have less control over themselves for that in stressful situations.)

@@aly-zy4th yes, I do remember. In regards to Finnegan's old age, I've been noticing from Mikayla's vlogs, for the past few months, that Finnegan is not as playful or high energy like before. I further noticed that Finnegan seems to not be responding to Mikayla more often than before, specifically when she is calling out to him asking him to come over to her b/c he'd rather continue with taking his nap or have his resting sessions than to go to her. 🤔🤔 Anyways, no matter what's been going on with Finnegan, whether it's related to his old age or not, I still think Finnegan is very cute & adorable. And, most of all, I immensely love & adore him!!!❤🦊❤

I love how Serafina is just decided to give a complete bath on the little one, like "good heavens, child, where have you been, we appreciate the cleanse in this house, you need bath NOW!" 😂❤ Poor baby was literally shaking, I'm glad she felt better as soon as they started interacting 🥺... i dont get saving predators like this because other animals have to die to feed them i mean in nature they have a role to play but saving them like this just means more have to die why not go to the slaughter house and save the chickens rather then buy the feed
@@jonnym4670 because a lot of them are from fur farms and didn’t ask to be here, the least we can do is give them a good life since humans created them to kill and profit off them. Also since they’re already in existence do you suggest we kill them because they require other animals as part of their diet? Every living thing requires food, it’s not their fault they’re obligate carnivores. I guess I can kind of see your point but I don’t see how it applies to this situation.
@jonnym4670 That is a valid ethical question. Traditionally, diversity of animal and plant life is valued more highly than individual animals and plants. Also traditionally, foxes are more valued than chickens for the same reason humans are valued more than foxes, because they are smarter. Though realistically... It's because foxes are cuter.
Oh that's so precious! She was shaking with fear but after two sniffs said "Oh, you're like me! I'm one of you!" and was immediately running all over the yard with the other foxes. How wonderful ❤
She was shaking when held up high by freaking human. Then she was nervous around those big foxes. Then freaking human hold her again to be licked in the butt duh. LEAVE HER ALONE!
this is not a farm it is one of the largest fox sanctuaries in the usa. the little pup was reuscured from a horrible fur farm. the 2 older foxes were also reascued from fur farms i think last year.

The missing tail says all about the harsh life this pup started out in. But now everything has changed for the better, and she gets to be the best fox in an environment with only love, treats, toys and EhEhHehe~s :)
@@karenslaughing the pup's tail likely got chewed off by the mother fox due to stressed overgrooming. Mom foxes in fur farms tend to be super-stressed and will express this by overgrooming and worse, leading to pups losing parts or whole tails and ears. This is similar to how pigs in high-density stables will chew off each others tails and ears.
@@ES11777 other animals do worse to each other, like putting eggs inside their bodies and let their babies eat the other animal alive. Do not presume that we are the worse or that killing for survival is evil

Thinking back to Serafina and the Floof as.pups. Remembering Kipper . How many pups have we watched Finnegan foster dad? And it wasn't it caring for the Floof that opened up Emmie's world to other foxes? They all make my heart sing

Serafina has the soul of a mama fox and treats the baby like it’s hers. What a blessing! She needs it as much as food, water, and shelter (in other words, every single thing you provide, which is EVERYTHING besides licking her clean and grooming her with your teeth 😂) Serafina seems very protective of her, but they all seem to love her and welcome her to the family. 🥰 They know they have to be careful with her. It cracks me up how the moment her paws touched the grass, she sprang into action. Zero fear. 💯 excited curiosity. She loves her new home! God Bless you, Mikayla! (ok and Ethan, too LOL).

🤣Very cute playdate! The fox pup has beautiful eyes and a very playful nature! The little tail stub wiggle when the pup met Serafina and the way that the pup kept flipping onto its belly was adorable! It was also wonderful how quickly the adult foxes accepted and interacted with the pup!

Serafina looks like she’s claiming the kit. So adorable. Serafina and Floofala were so sweet with the baby too. Seems like the baby liked Vixie too. No one can resist Vixies’ floofiness. This is sooo fantastic for the cubs. Having time with adults foxes is one the best things they can have, there's no better way to learn natural behaviour.

It amazes me that, for what these little sweeties have experienced so far in life, they are able to bounce around with new found friends on grass their feet have never felt before.
*All* of them are way too cute to be legal. I just want to scoop them up and give them millions and millions of hugs and kisses. They are the prettiest, and one of the most interesting animals that roams the forests around where I live (in Scandinavia). I *love* foxes. So much. And I love what you do at SAVEAFOX - you are heroes and I love you all!
This is beautiful! It feels like yesterday that Floof and Serefina were pups themselves, now seeing them loving and grooming a rescue pup is truly special.
I don’t know how you do it!!! Saving all these amazing foxes is a great accomplishment. So glad they will get to experience happiness for the rest of their lives. I can’t believe fox farms are even legal in this country!
Thats cute as! I remember i found a baby fox in the local quarry when i was a kid. I took her home only for my mum to take her to the local vet and he got put down. Foxes are considered pests in Australia. My 12 yr old heart was broken! Thanks mum.
Floof and Serafina are becoming foster parents to me. I just can't imagine what was going through the mind of the baby kit fox when the licking started.

I love that stage in so many mammal's development where they're mobile, but the species is still not easily recognizable. Seriously, if you had only seen images of them as adults, what would you think she was? A wolf? A badger? A cheetah? A hyena? Absolutely adorable.

that's the second pup I've watched get to the yard and go from nervous to balls of personality when they hit the grass. Pretty amazing with all there is to take in, Including the big ones in their face They just have no fear on the ground zipping along.. It is also kind of wild to see floof towering over the pup when not to long ago she was smaller and weaker than this pup is.

The world needs more ppl like you guys. I think abt the story of the little boy on the beach throwing starfishes back in the ocean & you definitely that sweet, beautiful baby fox. So heart warming!!!
