Смотрю с содроганием! В свое время работала санитаром на ферме, в мою обязанность входило лечение копыт у двойного стада, в моем распоряжении не было столько приспособ, как сейчас, но щипцами пользовалась и довольно часто?
What a relief from the wrong pull on all the tendons, ligaments & muscles. It will take the little horse awhile to learn how to walk properly but what a difference a good trimming makes. Thank you!
How can people leave this cute poney all alone ? Just dealing on his own trying to survive ? Thank you for what you’ve done for him, we wish him a very good life from now… the one he deserved … ❤️
It was like she was so used to the added weight of her hooves she was still stepping up high. It reminds me when I grab a water bottle thinking it’s full and it’s empty and I lift it with too much force! LoL I’m so happy this pony got the care they deserved.
@@trishayamada807 Haha, that's a good simile. I imagine it's more than just the weight though. That she had to pick up her feet a lot more just to avoid dragging her hooves on the ground.
@@seanleith5312 I’m a horse person and my ex was a farrier. But I’ve also branched out to watch the Hoof GP and TecTV trim cows hooves it’s claws as they say.
Oh my goodness, I feel so much emotion looking at this little angel. She is getting good care now. I just want to take away all her pain and sorrow. I am sad to think of her being so abandoned. Please just love on her.
THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!! Every hoof was different and had to be addressed differently. This pony was obviously much more comfortable after the trimming. And the little kid leading him around at the end was just ADORABLE. GLORIOUS JOB!!!
This was a dagger straight to my heart, with hooves like that it meant Years of neglect! This poor pony is going to be so much better now. I'm not even a big horse guy, I just happen to understand just enough to know what was being done to help.
For the life of me I can't understand how someone would let this happen. I'm fortunate that our ranch was in west Texas and this situation rarely happened. Of course we shod twice a year and pulled the shoes between the biannual roundups(gatherings).
@@cjsmith1760 In this case I'm assuming someones "princess" wanted a pony, and they had no clue how to care for one. Don't know enough to say for sure, but I doubt this pony was being fed right, and certainly doesn't look like the hairs been cared for in a while either.
people are buying ponies for their kids. kids grow, ponies don´t. so they lose interest in these little fellas and very often neglect like this happens. i once had my horse at a barn where the owner rescued ponies. what we saw was unreal...
People fall on hard times. It may have been between the pony and food for kids. I hope it was something like that and not just some POS that neglected her. But, they could've brushed her at least.
@@MolecularMachine wow, that is one of the most compassionate, humane comments I've read in years. It's good people with your level of empathy still exist in this world. (Sorry I just had to deliver this reply to your loving comment!)
I can’t even begin to imagine the relief this poor baby felt! God bless you for taking care of them. I have watched other videos doing this type of removal. Yours is the most seemingly kind and caring way of doing it. A heartfelt thank you to those who care for these neglected animals! 👏😊
I just want to cry when I see these neglected horses. And this one is very sweet to be able to walk around with your daughter. (I assume). Very cute and so glad the pony is able to walk again. I grew up with horses and never knew their hooves could grow so much or be so disabling.
It hurts to see innocent animals that have no voice be so abused because of people that should never own animals, if they are not willing to take care of them then why get them. It’s wonderful to see such wonderful people caring enough to help these precious souls be taken good care of and provided a better life. So thank you to everyone out there that has a heart and rescues, adopts and just takes care of these beautiful creatures we need more people like these in the world.
Wow, years of neglect are being addressed..poor wee man...so good to see him getting the help he needs for his feet and it will only get better and better as the farrier addresses his feet in the coming months, now all he needs is a really good brush and wash ....I look forward to seeing that too!
Poor thing needs a good shearing, shampoo, a good brush out and a nice flake of top notch hay to munch on. Who ever let the poor thing get to this point should be stripped of animal ownership privileges. The condition of the animal presented is simply abuse and neglect.
Thank you for making this little pony better. We had a pony when I was little, I always thought it was a huge horse and when I became an adult I realized my big horse was really a little tiny pony. Blessing to you and what you do
I grew up on a farm in IN in the 60's. I now live in a condo in Las Vegas. This brings me such immense joy to see this. It's like watching a miracle happen.
They are so much more lively afterwards, so alert. Obviously it will take time for them to get back to walking normally, but they suddenly have other interests in life than painfully pondering how to take the nextt aching step without slipping, sliding, and stumbling. Beautiful work!
Бедная пони! Как нужно было не любить животное, чтобы довести ее до такого плаченного состояния! Автор, низкий вам поклон за то, что профессионально справились со своей работой! Вы избавили от страданий бедное животное!!!
Thank you so very much for helping that small horse to be able to walk better. I saw how wobbly the walk was prior and this animal is so much more stable now. I think it was scared to walk on the rounded surface as it did not want to twist his ankle and it had to balance on a rounded surface so it was very difficult to walk. All better now thanks to you. You are so good!
I’m so thankful this horse finally got a long needed trim. To see how much better this horse was able to walk touched my heart and I’m sure it felt much better as well with far less pain I. The joints.
Hi all. I know nothing about horses, but I can tell how much more comfortable this little pony was after the trim. As someone unfamiliar with horses, I was curious to know why wild horses do not seem to grow hooves like this pony has. Is that because wild horses run around a lot while this pony did not move much? Sorry if the question is lame (no pun intended!).
I've been binging these videos and one farrier said because the wild ones run in rough terrain and stones, gravel etc their hooves naturally stay quite trim and even. Horses kept by humans in stables or ranges where the possibility of them tripping is limited means their feet need to be looked after.
Environment is a huge factor, but also is selective breeding that selects for things (size in this case) despite some health consquences, like hooves that grow too soft or too fast or odd in some way. In the wild such genetics die out, but in selective breeding things can remain because we have things like medical care and farriers. But conversely domesticated animals can suffer when mitigating care is not used. It is both environment and genetics.
I've never seen farm life. But after playing Skyrim for years, I honestly just like the background noise of the blacksmith and horses with the added ASMR of the hoof trimming. Thank you for the content!
God Bless you for helping these beautiful, sadly neglected, animals - you can tell the horsie feels so much better now! Bless you for your kindness. 💕🐎💕
Great work! I appreciate the commentary on this video explaining how and why you trim them the way you do. Very cool to learn the science and skill behind it! On behalf of a Michigander, THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT WORK SIRS, saving these beautiful, but neglectled animals.
When I was a little kid I used to think it was cruel putting horse shoes on the horses/ponies, As I grew up and see many videos like these I realized these blacksmiths are amazing people who are the horse's saviours. The level of care and relief they bring the animals is beyond words. That little pony clearly was very grateful at the end not to mention very happy :)
I just don't understand how can someone treat this beautiful horse like that or any other animal for that matter. I'm just happy they were able to help him/her.
It’s difficult not to judge the individual(s) that failed to care for this beautiful creature. There is no acceptable justification for allowing this too occur. Furthermore, I can’t help from questioning the overall care, food, shelter and possibly isolation. There is always help available ! On the positive side. Thank you and your organization, for providing your services. There’s no doubt, this pony was relieved of pain and discomfort. It can begin to enjoy life. Best regards
I’ve decided to be happy this pony is getting the love and care it needs versus being angry about the neglect. Well done and best wishes to her in her new home.
Poor pony , seeing what his hooves are like my tears flowed 😭!I can imagine how hard it was for him to live like that !!!But with your selfless help , he will have a beautiful life again as he had before , and which he deserves !!! Thank you for caring and helping him 🙏🙏!
So glad to see the work you did. That was hard to watch, since when I was a kid a horse owned by a relative was in the same condition and the local vet said nothing could be done and the poor mare lived that way the rest of her life.
The fact that you managed to make them look like normal horse feet after all of that is amazing. When they’re that bad, they don’t even look salvageable.
Wow, what an amazing job and service you have given today. You have performed the exact opposite of whoever let this get to such a bad state of affairs in the first place.
The farrier literally sculpted a hoof out of all that mass, so long & curved looked like ram's horns to me. You have to envision all the lines in so much material because all previous guides are obscured completely. Amazing an artistry of restoration to degrees of a masterful effect
