Makes my heart sing when I see and hear of these dogs fearing when they see a human that they are going to be hurt ,only to be loved and they don't know .Then they realise they are going to have security and food clean bed and a human who cares .

These people are so kind and wonder Paul, taking care of disabled dogs is really hard. I love fostering disabled and hospice dogs, I may not be able to make a difference by myself in the human world but I know I can make a difference in a dogs world. I consider it a privilege that they get to live out their life with me and my two young dogs.. when it’s time to cross the rainbow bridge I am right there with them. I hope that when my time comes that when I get to the bridge I’ll have a huge pack of healthy happydogs waiting for me.

It brought tears to my eyes hearing his cries when found. How horribly sad his existence was prior to his amazing rescue. His transformation is amazing and he’s so happy. He deserves the best life. Thank you to his wonderful rescuers.♥️

It's amazing how forgiving dogs can be. I adopted a badly abused dog. His foster mom started crying when I told her I would adopt him. He was an older dog, didn't really take to adopters that were interested in him what few there were. She was afraid he would never be adopted. When she brought him to my house he immediately took a liking to me. Jumping in my lap licking my face. She said he'd never done that with anyone before. Serving in the US Army and seeing things on my many deployments, I am sure he recognized someone as broken as he was. I had a hard time feeling comfortable around people making my life quite lonely. He helped me become more confident speaking with people because he refused to leave the dog park until he had checked out every dog and in turn I had to interact with their owners. He gave me so much of a normal life back. A dog badly abused was more kind to a human than most humans are to one another.
