Resealed Hot Pack Scam??? Busted!!! 2018 Panini Prizm "Hot" Hobby Pack 

But they should be 100% sure and not just go on a feeling that someone's a scammer they gotta have irrefutable proof otherwise they could wrongfully be messing with another man's livelihood and I don't know where ur from but to take food off another man's table because of an erroneous decision, oooff man that is grounds for some serious reprocussions and very serious and numerous concussions.

Loose packs... why to not buy loose packs or "hotpacks" from ebay. Buying individual cards is fine.

@@hectoralonzo7909 Thanks Hector. Collecting cards as a kid was a great experience. Saving your money up from doing chores, cutting lawns, paper routes or refundable glass bottles. Then going to the liquor store and spending it all. Of course it will never be like that for the kids of today. Collecting has turned into a monster. Now I just collect vinyl records. Far North Hobby yah just today, I just got back into the hobby this past month n this ain’t even the first time it’s happened, but I usually just let it go n leave them positive feedback cuz I get my money’s worth. But won’t buy from same seller again that’s for sure. Kind of over buying packs or box’s online now.

@@Nate512 People are leaving negatives about them resealing. I was reading where the feds have been investigating & even busted a big auction house for fraud. I'm an ebay seller & have ran into several shady sellers. Ebay shuts them down & they just create a new account & continue forward. Some sellers have multiple accounts. I'm starting to think ebay doesn't care because they're making money from the sales.

They came back under a diff name. I have the comment from someone pinned in comments with their new name in it.

Its really hard to tell sometimes, thsts why i used the Prizm foil packs in the vid because its easier to tell with foil packs.

Searched does not have to mean opened and resealed.... there are several ways to know if a "hit" is in a pack of cards if someone has the time and equipment.

As long as they are not resealed you shouldnt have an issue.

There are ways to know if a heavier card (auto or mem) is in it without opening and resealing it.

Good call! After rewatching all 6 Hot Pack Humpday videos (a series i did ripping 5 every Wed for 6 weeks) with a few fellow youtube card channels, we concluded that almost half of the Hot Packs i purchased for the series were resealed. Thanks for watching and the sub! I subbed right back!

Far North Hobby Honestly, From watching the first time, i didnt see enough evidence to believe it was resealed. I’d have to watch again.

I have theories, but i wasnt there when whoever did it so i dont know for sure.... I would guess glue/heat/crimp pressure though. The crimp lines are not the same and it can be seen where the new crimp is over and older (factory) crimp....

They open the packs from the bottom and not the top, because most people open packs from the top and won't notice After opening and adding/ removing, they lay the pack flat and place an iron on low heat over the open end. The heat from the iron warms the original glue from packaging and the pressure of the weight of the iron seals the pack closed There would be no new crimps, no added glue. Just reheated from an iron and it's resealed The ONLY way to tell is if you pay close attention, you will notice that the side that was resealed (which still will look perfect) will pop open VERY easily when you go to pull it open with very little resistance This scammer has all the positive feedback because 99% of people open packs from the top, or they also don't know what to look for. Add in the fact that the packs do have what's advertised, except only have base autos worth nothing inserted in them. The people who know what to look for do notice, and this seller does have over 28 NEGATIVE feedbacks from pack opening

FYI: i learned all of this 1 day too late. I won 4 of this guys auctions and stumbled across this video searching resealed hot packs. I searched for video like this because i didn't see the negative feedback until AFTER i paid, so i wanted to educate myself on what to try and look for when i recieve my package. All the prior information i posted i found from finding videos of people showing how to reseal pokemon and magic cards

I didnt even ask for my money back... wrote it off as a lesson. If you watch the series, i opened 5 "hotpacks" every week for 6 weeks.

Yeah. There are several ways to search a pack without opening it. My main issue was resealed packs advertised as factory sealed new. Cheers
