I saw a guy digging through my trash last night. I live in the Northeast Florida area and we typically have alot of wildlife in these parts. But I went out to check out the ruckus expecting an animal and what I found, well not too far off, was Rudy from Alpha Investments picking through my taco bell wrappers to scrape off the cheese left on them. I rattled my keys at him and told him to get lost and he ran away shouting "Meta Zoo stay the course!" He then knocked on my door the next day to apologize for all the commotion and shook my hand. After I sanitized the taco grease he uses for his hair off my hand he had the audacity to ask me if I had any leftover MH2 wrappers or boxes so I again politely told him to leave
@@shawnchuang1450 I got a whole lot more stories about him but I'm waiting for the right content to be uploaded. I met him several times and he always screeches at me if I look him directly in the eyes so I always just stare off to the right or left of his face
I've opened 9 boxes without a single retro fetch. My friend opened 1 pack last night and got Retro Tarn and now Rudy gets 2 in 1 box. I should really call myself the most unlucky MH2 box opener in the world.
I opened 3 boxes and got one in each, plus a foil retro misty in a bundle box. I figured you got one retro frame fetch in each box, but I was wrong apparently lol
WOW, fetchland avalanche. The 1st box delivered 7 fetches, and while the 2nd box "only" gave you 4, the mythics were great. Amazing pair of boxes, 9.9/10
Not sure where you get your numbers from, but that's about $100 over. Prices on lands and mythics from this set have dropped pretty hard over the last few months.
I am just imagining someone watching this in like 5-10 years and this being similar to me watching Rudy's Stronghold double Sliver Queen/Mox Diamond opening!
@@jessicastevens538 between the 2 boxes yeah.. im pretty sure it's like 220 or 230 for a set booster. Rudy had draft boosters for like 200. Honestly back when I was buying them at 330 I was breaking even each box but that was in april.
Box one was Broken. SOMEONE at wizards mix the piles up. Then it got to box 2 and the monkey shows up to let you know that Monkey buisness is going on. hahahaha. Grats on the box. Vids like this makes me wanna save up for a box but always doubt myself last minute cause i'm scared of being disappointed and just go to buy singles instead. Good to see other people hitting the jackpot 2x in a row though.💫💯👍👍👍
My favourite LGS had a special on Zendikar Rising Gift Bundles, just a little more than the regular bundles. Pulled a Horizon Canopy from the Collector Booster, as well as some other nice cards in the other boosters. Half the fun is seeing what happens
@@justinclement5417 its a financial thing. Fairly new to magic and 300,000korean won for a box is just too much for me at the moment compared to singles in korea. Right now my free allowances sum up to 300 a month. With singles i can decide to cut it in the middle around 150 and progress a deck. Im just waiting for the next double masters next year hopefuly the economy does better.
I got 15 boxes. Only wanted retro fetches. Used normal fetches to purchase most of my boxes. Got most of every variant. My best box had one of each fetch and like 6 mythics
First box expected value based on TCG is about $220-$230 excluding commons, uncommons. Would've been almost twice that a few months ago, but prices have really dipped on the lands and most mythics. Not really worth opening these anymore if you're looking to flip for profit.
11 fetches…3 of which were old border and 1 foil!! I’ve opened about 6-8 boxes and only landed 1 old border fetch that wasn’t from a collectors booster. Unbelievable…way to go whoever you were that got these pulls!!
Anyone else notice the amount of rare duplication in that first box? Weird wild fabulous box. Giggety Day one of release that would've been over a grand.
I haven’t opened much MH2. But the other night target hat collector packs, so I bought two. I got the retro foil arid Mesa and retro foil verdant catacombs. I was very happy with those. Never pulled a fetch before.
literally have never played or seen magic get played, nor do i know what the cards are or do. with that being said I could watch rudy open magic every day
that was awesome brother. I think i don't want to buy anything from this set but last week I just have some money then I bought BUNDLE MH2 and I pull 2 fetch land and my Red little monkey
the quality of the edges from cutting is really awful. most cards here would be worth nothing. thanks god the print and cutting is on a much higher level over here
