Resealing My Professionally Rebuilt Supercharger Because It Leaks from Day One 😐

In this video, my Jokerz Eaton that was freshly rebuilt, ported, and painted starts leaking. This is within the first three days of having it running and during the first outing of more than two blocks of driving. I had everything meticulously cleaned up prior to this incident (mess made from the last Jokerz Eaton I had that leaked and proceeded to blow up months later) and now my engine bay is covered in supercharger oil again. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. Jokerz offered to reseal it for free but considering he is multiple states over shipping was expensive and I had to take it to an event the following weekend so time was too tight. This is now the second fully ported and rebuilt Jokerz Eaton that I have purchased that has leaked so I don't have a great record going here. Upside is, since I did this on my other Jokerz blower, I have some flange sealant leftover from last time. This is the process for resealing the supercharger snout.

Perfect timing to find this video. I swapped mine last year with a ported one and have the same leak. Doesn’t look like too bad of a job, but I was dreading it.

It's annoying to have to do for sure. Especially if you just spent money on it like I did. But it's no more hard than doing a diff cover or any of those things. Just bolts and sealant. 👍 Thanks for checking out the video and commenting!!!

Mine also has a slow leak at the snout but it’s from mileage/age. Did you avoid doing it on the truck to prevent an oily mess? Also for anyone that does this it should take around 6oz of fluid so most likely will need two of those 4oz bottles

I pulled it off the truck because on my other leaking Jokerz blower i did it on the truck and it makes a mess. Or at least I made a mess when I tried it. Also, with all the push locks and stuff I added in conjunction with all the deleted items on the truck, removing the blower took just 19 minutes haha. Makes things a bit easier.

Seems to work well. Just need to prep the surface right and make sure stuff is clean.

Sounds like they picked an appropriate name for their business. Two blowers and two problems is a pretty bad track record.
