RADIUS is a multidisciplinary research group, dedicated towards sustainable chemistry based on insect and algae biomass. We perform research and can give advice on the cultivation and processing of insects and microalgae, biorefinery, and computational modeling.
We breed 4 insect species continuously at pilot scale, namely the black soldier fly, the yellow mealworm, the house cricket and the migratory locust.
