Your cell phone probably has more germs on it than anything in a woman’s purse because of how many times we touch our phone in between cooking, cleaning, using the bathroom even if you’re not bringing your phone in there with you you’re still touching the bathroom door knob going in and out of that room as well as every other door knob in the house, all your light switches, your fridge doors, walls, hand rails.... you name it, it’s also touched your phone by touching your hands on everything in between. If you think about it, you’re only using your purse and it’s contents when you leave and take it with you. You touch all of the things multiple times per day and not even realize it. Most women don’t carry around makeup with them as much as men like to believe but if you’re practicing healthy use of make up as it is (not using old products and using clean sponges/brushes/applicators to apply it) then there shouldn’t be much bacteria and germs on that as it is. But the worst place makeup should be IS rolling around in a purse as it is. If you’re practicing hygiene in this area, then you wouldn’t be doing stuff like that as it is because who wants to smear their makeup on their face after it’s been rolling around in their purse collecting dirt and debris all over the bottle rim? At least get yourself a makeup bag to put it all in to put it in your purse!

There was a test where researchers walked through piles of dog poop. Some were barefoot, some wore socks. It was noted that the ones with socks had slightly less poop between their toes!
@@comradeabi8314, I wouldn't expect my feet to stay clean if I walked through poop with socks on and I have more sense than to believe a paper or cloth mask will protect me from a virus. If someone is throwing sand at you it wont do any good to hide behind a chain link fence and neither will a mask protect you from a virus.

Masks aren't about protecting you from others but protecting others from you in case you have the virus. There are also certain types of masks that can defend you from being infected but you get the idea.

The purpose of masks is to decrease the viral load which you inhale. The amount of virus you inhale has every thing to do with the severity of disease. If you inhale a very small innoculum you may not get sick at all. A large innoculum is associated with worse outcomes.

So with or without a mask you are going to get a dose of the virus, it is just a matter of quantity. Then the question is, how did they deliver the virus in their test? Was it delivered via droplets or was it in aerosol form. Masks are more effective in stopping transmission by droplet but are virtually worthless in stopping transmission by aerosol particles. Studies have now shown the corona virus is transmitted via aerosol particles and masks are therefore ineffective. So I want to know if this test was for transmission via droplets or aerosol, which they do not tell you - and visually it looks like a droplet test to me - though of course I cannot be certain.

I know masks aren’t that effective but you have to consider: only one mannequin has a mask on, they’re in a vacuum sealed box, not a free flowing environment where the air circulates, they’re at the same height, and they aren’t six feet apart.
@@salv5203 the point is that in order to stay safe, you need to do the whole thing: wear a mask, practice social distancing, and avoid crowded confined spaces. though if you did all of that without putting a mask, you’d still get covid. so yeah, mandating masks makes a difference
But also it’s about how much you breathe out if you have it (which you may not know). I didn’t know I had it at first but because I wore a mask most of the time I thankfully got no one else sick because not as much was coming out of my mouth and spreading. Other than that you have a point but we might as well just wear them.

Actually yes it does matter. It's called viral load. The more virus you breathe in the higher likelyhood you will get infection. Not only that but the higher the viral load the more quickly the illness can progress.

Also, I think it is standard protocol to wear those protective gear when experimenting with live viruses or any biological hazards. This protects them and also prevents possible cross contamination which may invalidate their result. Also, in the video, they stated that masks alone will not completely protect you. It is only effective to some degree.

You should worry about CO2 in the following situations: *bedroom closed doors and windows at night, can get well into 6,000ppm *Driving a car with air on recirculation, ppm can reach 8,000 with more than one person in the car The thin area of air in between your mask and your face might contain an ounce or of air and some has old breath, but you mix in soooo much fresh air, 16+ ounces of new. Fresh air is ~400ppm CO2 so your exhaled breath would have to be...you're not even reading at this point. It's negligible. Wear a mask when mandated.

Yes, but when they put a mask only on the virus mannequin, the non-virus side got 70% less. This study shows pretty well that if the sick person is wearing a mask, transmissibility is reduced more so than if the non sick person is wearing a mask. There are still debates to be had around the mask argument, (for example does wearing a mask give someone a false sense of security and cause them to take more risks?) but the study does show the effectiveness of masks when used properly and ignoring all other variables

My wife is volunteering in vaccine centre. She is using double mask and use hand sanitizer very frequently until damaging the skin. Yet she got infected.
She killed health bacteria that also help protect her skin by over sanitizing. Ucern is good to replenish moisture in the skin which creates a healthy environment for healthy bacteria to grow. And the video said the mask only reduced inhalation by 30% two mask equal 60% lmao she needed 3 màsk to get 90% omg so 4 is the magic number. Wait but that is like suffocating.

The amount you inhale determines the severity of symptoms, they claim. I wear a mask in the store, no big deal. I'm not vaccinated so I'll go with the supposed protection of the mask. I know I got sick far fewer times when everyone wore one even though I worked in crowded spaces so I guess you can say I'm for a mask mandate but definitely not for a vaccine mandate as it violates international law

They're testing the mask a personal protection against others. The reason we use masks always been the other way around, protecting others by catching most of the droplets.

Testing using a clinical test method does not prove causation. Never has never will. We breath in viruses all the time but most don't get really sick and die.
