Today i have made a tasty traditional Malaysian dessert "Kuih Lopes". Its so easy to make that you can make it at anytime and it taste so sweet and satisfying.
Ingredients/Method:
6-7 Pandan Leaves cut into small size and add it into the blender together with 2 cups of water. Once done filter it and separate the pandan juice.
3 cups of glutinous rice, add 2 cups pandan juice, 2 cups of coconut milk and 2 cups of water. Mix it well and add 1tsp of salt and let it cook.
1 coconut shredded, put on a plate. Add some pandan leaves and a pinch of salt. Steam it for 3 minutes.
400-500g of palm sugar, add it to the pan together with 400ml of water and few pandan leaves. Lets it come to a nice boil till the sugar is dissolve.
Once everything is ready. You can start plating the pulut together with the coconut and palm sugar syrup as show in the video.
