I have Honda City manual. In Honda City 5G, reserve light come up at around 30-31 kilometer before range become zero. Kudos to channel for such a daring and educational post.

@@DriveCraftR⁠ I am still confused. I haven’t pushed my car to such extents but wherever it tank icon pops up, roughly 40km range it shows & to the max I have refilled when it was 15km left! On a full tank, it fills 37.something something most of the times in such cases! Since Honda city has 40L of fuel tank! 37 to roughly bhar gaya! Matlab reserve roughly 3 liter ka hi hoga? Ya phir fuel tank 45 - 50L ka hai? Moreover the average on the odo always displays roughly to .6 to 1 liter more than the actual! Is that coz of undefined fuel tank number? Plz clarify if you can

Great and informative content as usual Ripesh !! Quick question on the milage and requesting this as your next episode of experiment. 😀 Milage of >20 is amazing in itself, but what are the ideal parameters? Is 70-80kmph the best milage speed? I have driven on 6-lane highway and got max 16KMPL with AC ON, 4 members with 60KG bag in boot and I feel City's milage was good if not best.

In Reserve mode, I have done upto 36 km with I-VTEC MT. It was just a test.

6 to 7 litres is reserve i have checked no need to do this test just minus the petrol u fill during reserve tank is 40 littees

Great video buddy, owning the same model of city, i was also curious about the same, so as to avoid range anxiety. Great effort 👌. Also i had one more question, if you have already tested or can test in future, that how much fuel does city takes if we run the car on idle with AC. Many a times this happens, that we have to wait or spend some time in car with AC on, so how much fuel(petrol) will be consumed in one hour in that case. 🙂

Thanks for your feedback. I will surely test it next time. But for an approximate idea, it will be around 0.8 litres to 1.2 litres/hour. Rest we will find out in the next experiment. ❤️

You changed your tyre to 195. How many kms you have driven till now and any issue that you have faced ? Please reply i am getting honda city zx this month and going to change tyre just after delivery as you said in previous video to change it.

After filling full tank what is the range that shows in your odo? My one roughly shows 500 kms.

Yes you are right, the max range I have seen in the ODO is around 535 kms on a full tank. This is because the 100+ km range left even after the ODO displays zero range as we found out in the video.

@@DriveCraftR my colleague's city V CVT shows 630 kms in a full tank and has done roughly around 15k kms on the odo. That's what I'm stressed and tensed about. And my one just completed 10k kms.
