Thank you so much. I got fortunate enough to stumble upon a silver bird who is my favorite and he always returns home for the past 2 years. I didn’t know what he was until Adam Archer and you introduced the Recessive spread. His blue bar mate has eggs now, then I’m going to pair him with what I believe is a recessive Opal and I’ll be in my way.
They are two totally different colors. Indigo is dominant and only needs one parent to deliver the gene to produce indigo youngsters. With Recessive opal, you need both parents to deliver the gene to produce recessive opal youngsters. I hope this helps
